I have a issue about keep awake in Messaging apps. It was keep awake all the times in my battery usage. If my device up time was 12 hours, then Messaging apps may keep awake for 12 hours eventhough i didnnt use it...i already mentioned this bugs on

I have a similar issue. The android is sucks my battery dry when phone is asleep. 12 hours 0% d.
So almost 50% of battery drain due to that.
I just let my battery discharged and will charge to full again tonight. See if it helps.

Me again.i havent flash my pone to 4.3 as recommended. But dis morning i got notification again on d update.during installation (shows robot with stomach got blue thingy) suddently it error n shows the robot die or somethin, n my hp revert back to 4.2.2. Got any idea why?

Did you use OTA update? And you are on stock ROM and stock recovery?

I think overheat (>35 C).
I guess this is the common issue for all N4 device.
Any method can solve this while keeping N4 virgin?

yes i use OTA but failed, got error as i mentioned. it is in stock rom but dunno about stock recovery.

previously got supersu installed, but i removed edy. got option to unroot in supersu but i dunno it totally unroot my phone or wat.

you need to flash back the stock 4.2.2 before you update to 4.3 or else it will result in error again, correct me if I'm mistaken

before this I got the internal storage error showing I got 8gb on my Nexus 16gb after I rooted 4.3 with SuperSU 1.43, I've tried the clear cache method, factory reset method on recovery but not successful

but I managed to restored back to normal storage after I formatted data on recovery, so now I got back my 16gb storage yeay!

Kinds of weird, i have that issue but it didn't sucking up my battery, i put there idle for whole night while sleeping, it will just used up 1%, it seems like a UI error rather than wakelock bugs...i m also wondering. blink.gif hmm.gif

After updated to 4.3, battery life seems better than 4.2.2. But i still have to used up several battery cycle to confirm whether it is really improved or not.

btw, did u rooted?? Now I am rooted with supersu, but i noticed it seems like quite unstable, so I am now thinking that whether is supersu make this bug occured..the version I am using is supersu 1.5
