My charger is rated as 1.2a

hi guys, i have a nexus 4 with some problems as below

1. Takes very long to boot, i think 1 min or 1 min +
2. No Signal, no Imei , baseband unknown. (running on 4.2.2)

things i tried.

1. Flash factory image (4.3), bootloop
2. Downgrade back to 4.2.2, can boot but problem remains.
3. Flash older radio/baseband, problem remain.


Any other things i can try before i send it for RMA?

How do you flash? Which instructions set you have followed but not working?

i unlock bootloader, and flash by using wug nexus 4 toolkit. I tried to flash it to 4.3 factory image, but stuck at bootloop.

I downgraded it back to 4.2.2 , can boot, but still having the same problem where there's no signal and no imei and unknown baseband.

Lastly i tried to flash to an older radio (0.33), and still no signal , no imei and unknown baseband.

after i update my CM10.1.1 to 10.1.2 i cant connect to play store it prompt no connection..i have removed my google account and it seems that i cannot add it back my account because when i click google account nothing happen..i also found that when i want to open google apps such as g+ it prompt apps isn't install....so do i need to remove all my gapps and install it back?

can i update android while charging the phone?

Yah~ Finally got some time to recompile the 4.3 kernel.

Undervolting at -175 and color calibrated.

Depending on what do you use your phone for. For basic usage without any fancy functions, get Nexus 4 the best budget phone you can get with that price ! (Specs aren't really budget though )

Lag ? Nearly impossible. Battery 2100mAh, and also depending on your usage and apps installed. My record with stock ROM and stock Kernel, 3G turned on all the time, is 9 hours with 2 hour and 15 min screen on time (SOT) with normal usage like what you have mentioned.


Theoretically, it will and depending on the circuit limiter of the phone. Usually the characteristic of the component as the limiter will not be share to public so can't really answer your question accurately.

Practically, we have people reporting exploding phone and some of them is due to the charger having output current too high, for example using a 2A to charge a phone with input 1A. We also have people complaining about battery life cycle reducing more easily. But do not have any official studies on this so i am not sure what I have said is 100% accurate as well

I did that by updating it from 4.2.2 to 4.3

i'm unable to connect n4 to pc & laptop via usb connection. Error in USB malfunction.. weird.. not happened when it was on 4.2.2

This strange.. reboot it and try again..

Try flash using fastboot, and don't mix and match those bootloader/radio.

Help guys, can u tell me what is the best app for lock and unlocking your screen, cause my power button is kinda broken ( i have to press it hard). I want to send it to service centre but im in Tganu right now. So i want to use my nexus 4 without frustation since i will only go the centre in 2-3 months time. Touch control dont support 4.3 kernel for the time being right? so any other apps??

If you use a flip cover, can use those which toggle screen on/off using proximity.

still got rebate?/ i thought already over

but i dont use a flip cover hmm i hope touch control would update and add support for 4.3 franco kernel soon
