Guys, I wanna use flashify and flash stock ROM, is the rom boot IMG or recovery IMG?

OTA, havent try factory reset..

4.3 isn't that bad but there are a few problems occurred but they happened occasionally that are probably caused by 4.3 :

1; phone auto reboot after call ended

2; phone auto reboot after launched camera

3; phone battery drain too fast on mobile data (didn't test on wifi)

4; keyboard is less responsive, eg : when you type "LOWYAT" phone can only sense "LWYT" ( Will be fixed by itself after typing for a while )

5; Camera could not take photo/focus (totally no respond) but only can launch the app, 3 function key still responding. (Can only be fixed after reboot)
these problems had no appearance before the 4.3
will wait for any fix from Google but I'm losing patience

Hmm.. glad to see both of you have smooth experience with Nexus 4, so far after factory reset, everything went well, but there were 2 times when i was swiping through apps, and the page just stuck there!      Like half of first page app and half of second page app is there, unless i press home button.  Haih.. Really cannot accept flaw like this, Have unistalled nova launcher, minimalistic text, all those uccw thing, or pie control, all back to original.

besides that another small flaw is camera app, when taking photo, and then swipe left to view photo, also stuttered. aiks..

Maybe I shouldn't complain too much, but I was expecting a completely smooth good experience using it..

Hi guys, I'm having issues with Google services eating up my bandwidth. Almost my whole quota of 3gb was used up within a week. Any idea what is wrong with the settings? I'm on PA 3.6. And I have never encounter anything like this before with all PA Roms. I've since then blocked all background data for gapps until I can find out what's the issue.

guys im curious what is the max speed of 3g?
cause my office at kapar i'm getting 14-15mb download which is damn strange... ( not just once and 1 day... been testing almost everyday now )

and my nexus not yet unlock 4G radio... (i just did it now and will test again 2morow )
i was wondering was that 4g?

cause i check digi website 4g coverage is very small only...
and kampung area like kapar wont come out 4g so fast...

since i change to nexus 4, i never see my phone with 3G signal when enable data, always 'H' only.

do i need to change any setting to get the 3G signal?

When i use DiGi previously did get it when I was at Paradigm Mall. But now im using Maxis also sometime got it. Guess need to see the location also

GSM auto (PRL) - The GSM phone is capable of using both 2G and 3G data communication and when signal strength is low 2G is favored more. This one is a bit confusing to me since PRL is associated mostly with CDMA technology and not GSM technology.

Since the place i go does have consistent 3g signal (using u mobile) so i would like to use GSM auto(PRL) to prevent it keep searching for 3g when the signal is low

i plan to flash the Hybrid baseband modem for nexus 4 that unlock LTE setting in nexus 4. expecting nexus4 can support celcom lte band.

LTE will only work on the LG Nexus 4 that support the AWS band of 1700 or 2100MHz. At the moment this is used in Canada along with some of the regions that T-Mobile use on their 4G network.

Hi guys, any idea if a US nexus 4 can claim warranty from local LG centers? I read the first post about a forumer being able to register but has there been any confirmation since then?

I'm asking since my friend is coming back from the US soon and I can tumpang him to buy..I can save around RM400-500 if the warranty is the same.

Last week Thursday (15/8/2013) i went to their shop and look for Nexus 4. They said currently no stock but if i deposit now i can get in 1 or 2 days.
So i decided to deposit, before i pay for deposit i asked again if they sure i can get in 1 or 2 days. And they firmly replied "YES!"

Fine then i pay for deposit, and you know what. I just received my Nexus 4 few hours ago (which already been 1 week after i place my deposit)

The worst thing is they don't answer my call, and they only let me know that i can get my phone on Thursday (22/8/2012) (They sms me on Tuesday)

So yea, strongly recommend NOT to buy from this specific store. It's located in Melaka Bukit Beruang if anyone wondering.

Just got back from PC Fair... omai~ I really like Huawei Ascend P6! Phone is really slim and even the bezel is so narrow.

The IPS display is even better than my Nexus 4! I wonder why, so I did a bit of checking. It turn out that P6 is even brighter than Nexus 4. Nexus 4 screen is bright at max 608cd/m2, a lot better than most phone (Samsung S4 just 404cd/m2)... but P6 is at 670cd/m2... I dont know why, I am always attracted to bright screen...

Tested the "Emotion UI"... kind of OK, but I still like pure Android.

You do know that the nexus 4 is subsidized by google and that's why it's cheap right?
The Nexus One, Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus was not that much cheaper compared to similar spec-ed phones.

Battery replacement cost RM80. You can ask a new power button for free.
