Guys,anyone experiencing Instagram FC here?
Mine always FC after updating to 4.3 stock rom
Updating to custom ROM also didn't help
wipe data,clear cache all done
Now playing Instagram in a browser lol

Dunno about you, 4.3 still seems buggy to me.

rooted 4.2.2 + franco kernel m3 + Greenify = stable n fast

so far hear all updated to 4.3 wif issue .. anyone using 4.3 w/o any issue ??

Need to reboot the phone only will show whether the BT is on or off.

Anyone make use of the internet calling function?

Rename the folder
/sdcard/Android/data/com.instagram.android

the folder in the /data is already named com.instagram.android
hmm weird,search in google about instagram FC but it returned zero result

EDIT : did another digging and found the solution
must rename the current instagram folder another name like com.insta.android.tmp
btw thank you for pointing me to the right direction,no more FC

SMS is not backed up with Google. For SMS, backup with SMS Backup & Restore.

For game data,
With root: use Titanium Backup/Helium Backup
Without root: use Helium Backup + PC

Google won't backup all game data for you so best bet is to backup yourself.

so hassle....to remove the account, it require a backup account...meaning create a new account?

Actually after syncing (to backup contacts), you can just remove it and add it back. You'll lose nothing. No guarantee but that's my experience

removing google account does NOT remove all data or any data whatsoever

only when u do a factory reset, then everything will be wiped clean

i have removed google account countless times and adding it back on numerous phones and tablets, no problems so far.

LOL! I just upgraded to 4.3, just fine. Cannot wait till I get back Malaysia. Now on stock. Lag? No. Battery? Need time to test.

- The color is still not calibrated. Will have to calibrate it later. The color from PA guy is still the best.
- I am using the App Ops now! This hidden feature in Android 4.3 allow you to do fine permission control over App in your phone. For example, you can disable Maps from reading your location, etc.

For those who dont like to download app to launch that hidden feature, just execute "com.android.settings.Settings$AppOpsSummaryActivity" to access the feature.


Functionality seem still limited. I may still need my AFWall+.

Well, that was what I told you, rename that specific folder.

Given the full folder name, of course you have to change it to something else, otherwise it wouldn't be "rename".

No, this is a new bug. Never has such high drain from BT module on previous version.

In case you didn't notice, I was just being sarcastic.

One day already on 4.3, no problem so far, no unnecessary battery drain, Instagram works just fine nor FC (infact uploaded a few photos last night and browsing), no lag. What other problems you guys facing, I'll test on my unit too.

not charging or the rate dropped?

mine still charges as usual, not sure whether the charging rate got faster or slower though.

I'm facing 2 times reboot after upgrading to 4.3 since last Friday.. Facing this issues after did factory reset to my nexus.. Too weird because i received notification (cannot remember which apps) than wake my phone at lock screen it's hang then reboot.. Battery drain improve from 4.2.2..

Darn I just updated to 4.3, now I'm getting worried
