Can purchase from both the company at their respective website, just Google for it, I purchased and is using gadgetshield one and I am very happy with it because of the precise cut and less orange peel and also very clear like no sp is applied. Purchased bestskinever matte version to test but gadgetshield one is awesome so far laugh.gif

Ordered a non-case optimized version but the sides keep peeling even when I did not put any case on, then I bought the case optimized version and now it fit perfectly with my Ringke Fusion case.

thanks for the info. Guess i'll take the the case optimized one. According to the website, it says 2mm short on side and 1mm short for top and bottom, will that leave a big gap like my current sp?

Nope the gap is small enough to be hidden by my case while not having any peeling problems. There is a 30% off all products on their website now but I can't seem to access it right now.

Stock recovery cant flash zip file i believe.
If your phone is rooted but has the stock recovery you will get prompted for the OTA and it will update and install. But I think you has to unroot first before applying OTA

Done & thanks! laugh.gif

EDIT: Just to make sure, is the RM80 charge for battery replacement standard regardless whether if the set is original (covered by warranty) or oversea sets (not covered)?
*

RM80 for battery and installation. My nex4 is US set. They said, warranty do not cover hardware problems which cause from us although the phone is LG Malaysia set.

Yes, it's RM350 to be exact.

Usually will be replaced on-the-spot provided if they have the stock ready; or few days for the to back-order the parts.
*
They already increase the price to RM360.

biggrin.gif Althought touch wiz slows things down but there's some notable features in those touch wiz phone that's very usable and comes in very very handy. For example, multiwindow by samsung. It will be awesome if and only if Google will consider adding multi window straight into Android for all devices or selected devices with certain screen size (> 5" perhaps).

If that comes true, then that's what multitask is. Having to switch between apps through "Recents" just can't be called "Multitask" because you can run only one app in the foreground. Serial processing, not parallel processing biggrin.gif
*
fyi, multi screen function is NOT by samsung, it just copied this from 3rd party dev. i have been using multi screen long before samsung CLAIMED to have "innovated" it

this is why i really dislike apple in the first place, they copied stuff from other ppl's hard work, doesn't give ANY credit to them, then made a big deal out of it by making itself look good because they "made" this awesome feature. this is exactly what samsuck is doing right now!

what the heck. people would definitely come to whichever device's forum that they are interested in and ask for a comparison, some phone from company A vs company B etc.

if you don't like something just be be objective and skip the dissing remarks. all these dissings that I have read from the first few version of the thread is unhealthy to any forum. perhaps the mods here are not as strict as the ones in XDA? but that is not the point. This is just a forum for people to discuss about phones, in the end they are just phones, don't have to go around and show your dislike for other phones to that level.

and yeah, i do have brands that i rather not go to, but i don't dis them around over a forum like this.
