Do i need to return to stock rom n lock the bootloader?

And for those who have gone for service for power button, do they make it on the spot or do i need to wait for few hours or wait till next day?

i need help guys.

i just bought ori set 2 days ago and today im trying to port to MIUI V5 rom. after do the unlock bootloader, instal CWM and port MIUI rom, my phone cannot get network signal (it say cannot detect sim card) and cannot turn on wifi and bluetooth.

after dat, i tot maybe the rom corrupted then i try to port to Cyanogen ROM, but same problem happen. cannot detect network,wifi bt cannot on. i already flash the kernel, same problem still occured.

then i try to revert back to stock rom (using stock rom from xda-dev coz i not backup my rom), but my phone still got problem.

anyone has encounter same prob?

need help to find stock local ROM. maybe anybody got backup?

There is no local stock rom. just download the latest Google image from Google developer website n.use fastboot commands to flash the rom

Don't be a hater, note have it's strength as well. Note 2 very smooth, camera and battery much better than nexus, if note 3 is smoother, battery last longer and better camera than 2, why not ?

i think screen size and budget are the factors people have to consider. and is it necessary to buy overly high processor , extra ram that may not be used (3gb?) n overly sharp 1080p phone(can human eyes see that extra pixel?).

EDIT: Just to make sure, is the RM80 charge for battery replacement standard regardless whether if the set is original (covered by warranty) or oversea sets (not covered)?

Yes, it's RM350 to be exact.

Usually will be replaced on-the-spot provided if they have the stock ready; or few days for the to back-order the parts.

haha. if u mean image from this site, i already test it, both 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 not solved my problem. got it directed by xda-forum. im suspecting my radio chip failure. now need to lock bootloader and send for warranty.
