Dunno about directd, but satugadget was selling the Black Color @ 2099 + 30 = RM2129 last week.. , White color was 2099. Nowadays, black become 'premium' ah? in the old days, white was the color that needed to be topped up.. lol

haha.. if indeed the LTE version comes with flash later on, Sony really fk over their customers..

Yeah, just came back.. quite a lot of people purchasing the XZU and XZ.. maybe indeed the Z line of devices is Sony's revival locally here in Malaysia so to speak.

all major samsung launches in KL attract a lot of people. Majority of people still idolize samsung devices. They are indeed good all-rounder devices, performance and function IMHO.

Just pointing out that even a brand like Sony can now command such crowd. Its worth the mention as how Sony Ericsson branded phones before never had such attraction like now.

No worries bro, the beloved Samsung will still be no.1 market leader..

Was sticking on SP at the counter there and 3 person bought XZU, and 2 person XZ.. a lot more were asking for XZU obviously.

Not sure the brand... i think the same SP that comes with XZU freebies there. Normal SP Front portion only. Temporary only once the Anti-fingerprint one ordered with Cubixshoppe arrive, I will change.


Come to think of it, the XZU screen was LESS fingerprint magnet compared to it with SP applied. Maybe the XZU screen has some oleophobic properties? now need to wipe so often compared before without SP

yeah.. at the roadshow counter there.. unfortunately only front SP available

Clear type. Not anti-finger print. price was RM20.

Show girls got. but all decently dressed.. jeans and tshirt. Not like samsung roadshow events, girls with tight hugging white supermini-skirts

Exactly bro, cant judge a phone just by its size. Its human nature to adapt to surroundings. People were up in arms because the note 1 (and dell streak before that) was deemed too big for its time. But look how things are.now? 5" is now the minimum for a flagship.

After using XZU, I feel my 5" XZ (or any device less than 5" for this case) cant provide me with the umph screen real estate needed anymore!

Cant wait for the note 3 and one max, to see what they can offer.

Then that's good thing loh.. at least makes your life safer! LOL

This issue also bothers me... stock maximum volume is rubbish. Cant hear clearly in busy areas like mamaks or fastfood restaurants.. maybe the drawbacks of IP rated and waterproof i reckon. limited choice of quality water resistant speaker systems.

For call volumes, its ok for me. Nothing to complain.

Nope, the metal contacts on the XZ are different compared to the XZU. XZ are closely placed, while XZU are separated a bit by a magnetic plate in the middle.

Not sure about the TabZ though

Its waste hiding the sexiness of the XZU in cases, to me la.. I bought the phone becoz i wanted an awesome looking sexy piece of gadget. And being an early adopter beats the purpose for me to let people see this awesome beast if i put it in a covered case.

Im using my XZU nekkid.. dropped 3-4 times on my car dashboard when i wanted to adjust it in a car handphone cradle, all the time landed smack dab on the metal silver edges. No scratch/dents or whatever. Seems durable enough to me to go naked all the way body-wise.

But screen-wise i still use SP.. still paranoid about SONY screen durability of scratches. If it was an HTC, then I will go without SP anytime. HTC, makes the best screens IMO.

white color seems less obvious the scratches compared to black. light scratches can be ignored unless you really look at it closely.

Yeah, also need back SP.. still waiting for my order to arrive next week. Stuck with only front SP now.. need to be a little careful

no lah, means i use 3rd party front SP only. Back still stock naked

You got 100 FPS? i tested mine got only a benchmark score of 55.6 FPS avg on Ultra High Quality settings.

But still, it was really super smooth.. impressed!
