There is a 'Sketch' app for scribbling and photo editing. quite good features and options for the Sketch app imo.

Good i might say. plays all my .mkv movies without issue.

Tested to pocket my ZU in my jeans today to work as its casual friday.. seems a bit uncomfortable, especially during walking.. dont even mention about sitting



oh well, looks like my Z will still be my main phone. But soooo cant resist its beautiful large screen and snappy processor.. after using ZU, even 5 inchers now feel 'tiny' wei! lol

Maybe depends on Jeans brand / type imo. The ZU fits mine, but very ngam2 but still hamper movement a bit. Not to an extent of walking like a robot, but a sensation that something is slowing down your normal pace.

Anyways, my cargo pants and work pants had better luck transporting the ZU Just not gonna see myself lugging around the ZU when im in jeans mode. lol.

Im betting it to cost about RM480, replacing the current Sony top end BT handsfree unit which is now placed at that price range. If Sony set at RM600 - 700, already can buy another phone

I see where Sony is going here.. provided that LTE is nowhere 'mainstream' yet in Malaysia today, and the fact that even the HSPA+ models are selling well before launch, bringing in another model will kill the sales momentum of the HSPA+ models and not to mention their Xperia Z and Tablet Z sales (Both with LTE). People will skip the XZ and TabZ all together to get an LTE XZU.

Sony is not like samsung where sammy has a very strong market foothold locally. Sony is just starting to gain customer trust and market force and they will try to maximize sales for its premium range of phones and bringing another premium model will further fragment the user base at this critical stage.

Necessary evil, to make device super slim.. already stated during Sony unveiling in June.. maybe need to pin it in front page?

Yes, some might say they dont mind a little bump in thickness, but to sony, getting the accolade of having the slimmest fullHD phablet is a bigger concern rather than making a 'complete' device imo..

To be honest, I too wouldnt mind a bump in thickness, for example the XZ, quite slim, but still got flash.. if the XZU was as thick as XZ which is slim and elegent by my standard, then it would be a diff story i presume.. (larger batt capacity? LED flash?).. oh the possibilities!!!!

ohhh.. sorry, i see u mean normal phone shop.. but i think just sellers lazy to update sudden price drop due to release of XZU. Summore XZU officially only landed yesterday.. maybe more sellers will revise in these few weeks..

Actually a good question.. The promo sheet is not restricted to only Sony Centers from what i see. As long as its original from authorized distributors, COULD claim the gifts? hence the authorized distributor logos on the promo sheet. yes some bought from 3rd party dealers, and the dealers dont give any free gifts because i assume free gifts are only given out by Sony Malaysia.

One example, I went to Berjaya Time Sq. Sony Store yesterday (note that this is not a Sony CENTER, in KL/Sgor CENTER: KLCC - Lowyat - Curve only) and ask about the free gift. They say, we can purchase there but gift need to claim from nearest Sony Center which is Lowyat by showing proof of purchase..

BTW, can any XZU users that got the free gifts confirm whether their set warranty is under Sony or Thorus?

But then again, I may missed something from the T&C.. but this is worth an investigation. Any number on the promo sheet we can call? the pics attached too small to see any ctc no info.. doesn't hurt to ask.

Any one know about this Xperia X-change? official trade-in for Xperia phones. Maybe can give extra poison to Xperia users that still contemplate to switch to XZU
