a comparison with normal mkb would be good. the only few things that i guess are since it has low-profile keys, perhaps the feels will be like those membrane-based apex. i believe the win key lock is still there, as in apex. maybe there will be additional sets of keycaps from ss that we can replace stock ones with those.

i am using corsair k70 rgb (red swtiches).

Switch feels like brown to me. But i dont have much experience with all mech keyboard. Take it with a hrain of salt. But definitely not black or blue. Custom keycaps wont fit the apex m800. Currently i heard no plan from them to release custom keycaps.

Nope, just adjust dpi to your own liking. The rest can leave it default or disable it

Had a quick preview on the M800 last week. I personally find them to feel rather similar to the Cherry Red, typical linear feedback and non-tactile. With low profile keys of course. I would suggest you try out first before getting one, since it feel nearly similar coming from your K70 red switches.

yeah i'm getting used to k70 for gaming, but i kind of miss the feels of apex, that's why i thought of getting some inputs about m800 (the low profile keys should have similar feels like apex). you're right, it's better to have some try-outs first.

the only thing i dislike about apex is sometimes the keys are like 'hard to push due to frictions' (during gaming. i don't know how exactly to describe it properly). it's fine when i type (to me apex is very good for typing).

Yeah that price tag. However these babies should work like forever (the mkb that i know. I don't expect the leds will live long but i'm fine without it) so it's like an investment to a good kb that i will use for as long as i want hehe
