Spend another RM16 a month to buy a real debrid or alldebrid services.
It can offline download your torrent and also support 60+ file hosting.

Guys,

Can advice me which Maxis Center can do the sim card replacement for 4G service?
I just back from maxis center cheras and it is really sad that they said my current simcard already can use 4G while the Live Chat agent advice me to change my sim card since my sim card is old and not support LTE.

What should i tell them in order to change the sim card?

Thanks.
*
Change sim card don't need any reason, just go to the centre and tell you want to change.

Btw, I have changed my sim card to micro sim last week. It still not support LTE. Don't know what is the problem.

I have called to the centre.
They are talking non sense more than helping me.
First telling not the sim card problem, after that saying my area doesn't have LTE.
Most funny is, I have another maxis line, that was currently connected to LTE, I gave the operator my number, and he checked and told me, I was connected to 3G.

Totally didn't help me anything.

You can ask the CS to check your SIM card whether 4G profile enable or not
*
After almost an hour talking to cs, and final answer is: I might get a faulty sim card.
I met all the criteria to connect LTE but still fail.

Finally, managed to change the sim card at KLCC just now. I use tips given by fruitie. haha. just told them that i lost my sim card and need replacement. on the spot she gave me the new sim card and on the spot i test it into my S3 LTE. walowwww finally i got my 4G network on my phone. hehehe. but very sad at my area don't have LTE yet, Tmn Putra Ampang.
*
Hmm... I never need a reason to change sim card.
I went to maxis centre twice, just went the information counter and told I need change sim card, then the staff asked me go to counter X and queued there.

Just wanna know.. (especially to whether fruitie.. or digilife... not sure which one tried)...
If using two or more device for Maxis...(doesnt matter Biz+Biz, Legacy+Legacy, Biz+Legacy) at the same time... will the speed double, maintain the same, or will be getting lesser?
Considering that now the tower's now giving bandwidth to more devices at the same spot...

Last night I tried (760s + e398 + dispatch)... can't reach even 2mBps >.<..
But when I disable either device.. the speed seems to be more stable... hovering around 1.5mBps

Any tips? tongue.gif
*
I guess if too much users connected to the same tower, load balancer might come in.
If not too much users and the tower still afford to give the bandwidth to everyone, it should be remain the same speed.

I think not every server support 2+ IPs/connections to download a single item at the same time. So sometimes dispatch is useless.
But I believe it can be fixed if the connection combine in the VPN before download the file.

Not tested myself, I hope someone can try it.

Changing sim is need to pay.
Except corporate line, MOC, or buying device from them.
Sometimes you can get it waived by calling CS.

It's better to close all discussion about "Unlimited" for our own good. Remain only technical discussion and tips and tricks/tweaks only. Nowadays  Speed and Unlimited is very sensitive issue.
*
Why "speed" is a sensitive issue? Even maxis advertisement is showing the speed is up to 42mbps(DC-H+) and 75mbps(LTE). If we use some secret way to boost our speed more than the maxis can provide, that one i will agree it is a sensitive issue.

We should get maximum speed if we still within the quota no matter which maxis plan.

BTW, i just shot maxis last weekend by only able to get 3mbps with DC-H+. I said i totally cannot accept this speed with a DC-H+. They fixed my problem today and telling me the base was having problem.

They did boom me back after i complain the speed is unacceptable.

I will just call in and shoot another round.
Sometimes the operator is noob.
Some of them are trying to bully you if you know nothing about these.

bro,how do u complain ? thru twitter ? thru the maxis forum?

i've been expriencing very bad congestion in my housing area.dont know either they will even bother to my problem or not
*
I called 123.
Maybe my name is blacklisted lol.
I shot maxis 3-4 times with very gao gao. So that they take my case seriously.
I files maxis to SKMM more than 3 times within this 2 years.

1 time refund & rebate my bill for nearly RM700, and another time issued me a black & white apologize letter. I told them if i don't happy, i can share it in any forum or FB, or even publish in newspaper.

I think CFM is wasting of time. If not wrong, SKMM is higher power.
If SKMM doesn't fix your problem too, next step is TTPM.

I have a little technical question.

DC-H+ is actually connect 2x H+ network, or it is a totally different network? Anyone knows this?

Dual Carrier HSPA+ network wink.gif

Hmm, it wont actually 2X HSPA+ speed in real life, just increase the capacity.

You know lost are serious in 3G, dual carrier are better.
*
I have this doubt because, sometimes i connect to the H+ network and it is congested, but the DC-H+ is not. So i have thought that DC-H+ is another tower/network.
