QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Aug 15 2013, 04:41 PM) My August portfolio is so bullish! Bull rules. Almost recoupe back the paper losses that I encountered in June & July, hoh seh liao KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's A3 government bond rating is based on an assessment of moderate economic resiliency, supported by a highly open, medium-sized economy and a well-diversified external sector, said Moody's Investors Service. However, economic growth has been relatively dependent on public-sector expenditure, said Moody's in a report on Malaysia's credit strength and challenges. "Although Malaysia's per capita income is lower than most rating peers, its indicators of governance, regulatory quality, and competitiveness are better than similarly rated countries," Moody's said. It said the high degree of government financial strength was underpinned by the country's strong external position and high savings rates as compared with peers. "Malaysia's large stock of foreign exchange reserves provides a buffer against exogenous shocks that could otherwise undermine government finances. "Extensive price administration and low private investment have necessitated greater government spending on subsidies and infrastructure. "Malaysia's fiscal framework has grown more dependent on commodity revenues in the absence of broad tax reform. These developments have raised structural pressures," Moody's added. The rating agency also said Malaysia has strong and well-managed corporate and banking sectors and its state-owned enterprises were undergoing reform. "As a result, the sovereign's exposure to contingent liabilities is quite low," it said. -- BERNAMA Read more: M'sia given A3 govt bond rating by Moody's http://www.btimes.com.my/Current_News/BTIM.../#ixzz2c5JtAH4i |

Defensive is definitely not the best Offensive. Just watch Lin Dan vs Lee. Lee used to be defensive to beat Lin, and he died ugly. In recent years (after no more misbun his teacher), Lee starts offensive, attack, speed, that stands a chance in games with Lee, although, still mostly loss (mostly just a little bit).

QUOTE(Bonescythe @ Aug 16 2013, 01:27 AM) Very well said. That's why, if you want to get rich in stock market, know how to lock the profits, and don't lose money. Keeping winning and winning and don't lose at all if possible. how to not lose money? Then only the money will grow bigger and bigger. If not, win lose win lose.. In the end.. Nothing. |

QUOTE(lynetnonyma @ Aug 16 2013, 05:05 PM) one concept:when poor, spend less, invest more and re-invest from the profit to benefit from compound growth. later when rich, invest less, start spending the money. if poor still spend a lot, can never become rich. i think lah. just sharing. |

QUOTE(Top Gun @ Aug 16 2013, 05:27 PM) My concept: snow white you take, i take megan fox. When I have less money (dun want to use the word "poor" to describe myself, pantang!), I minimized my spending and gather all the resources from surrounding (like GoKu gathers "Yuan Qi") to raise funds to invest. When I become richer, I maintain my spending and maximize my resources for investments. Just let the snow flake grows to become snow guli, snow egg, snow ping pong, snow tennis ball, snow basketball, so on and so on...... and finally get my snow white! Just my billion dollars dream! |
