guys i just bought one this morning. rm799 with the smart cover rm39 from penang la.

the screen have lines underneath when it is off, is it normal?

Got 2GB thumbdrive, car charger, normal slip on case, and asked for micro sim adapter as mine is micro..it uses normal sim..other gifts can't remember..789 plus 15 bucks with SP..they offered Case and SP for 50..but didn't like it..so took the SP only..

If u saying p780 vs I8550, what I can think of:

5" IPS 720 x 1280 vs 4.7" TFT 480 x 800
8mp camera vs 5mp camera
4000 mah battery vs 2000 mah battery

The downside of p780 is the low internal memory

4gb vs 8gb

But that is not a problem with some tweaks biggrin.gif

in order to use link2sd, phone need to be rooted 1st right?
i don't think can simply transfer apps from int to ext without root.

Hmm, i don't see anything wrong with rooting. U can anytime reset the phone to factory settings and root will be gone if u need to send warranty or what ever reason
