Thanks  thumbup.gif

You mention, HD fee: RM20/month* , which means there will be an increase of RM20.00 after upgrade current package to HD?

Can choose to upgrade only the decoder without the HD channels?

Not only standardize all the decoder, malah the beyond decoder cannot use smart card from other decoder. cry.gif

At least we can expect codec change.. Codec Change = More Channels.

1 month ago we install astro, beyond hd pvr, samsung decoder.
then we noticed, some channels like to black out for 1 or 2 seconds then resume, then black out again a while...
then for a few times, once we turn on astro, the screen look pink like attached photo... and then we click anything on the remote also the decoder would not respond... have to power off the astro and power on again. shakehead.gif

Sometimes I got this issue too when waking up from Standby with the Samsung PVR unit. Need power off completely and restart to fix it. Hopefully the new firmware will fix it

Black out nope. I think the black out should be due to the cabling or the signal issue. Sometimes when is raining it will black out blink for few times then back to normal. Unless it is too heavy rain till it black out for few second then display the error msg.

Guys/gals need your input. I'm currently on Superpack4 package. Now that Astro has increased their fees by $8 ($2 Family + $6 Sports), I'm thinking to downgrade my plan. Basically, I still want something like Superpack4 except the sports package.

Any recommendation? Of course, I will also do my own research. But if you have any inputs, that would be great. Thanks.

rain shouldn't affect anything. Won't blackout unless you have low signal. My location heavy heavy rain still can watch. Unless you see the sky damn dark dy, then you should be able to watch.
