Definitely go for KDL-32W674A if you have the money.
Has more audio codec and the refresh rate also higher.
Design also better  brows.gif
After that connect your macho i7 PC to it  thumbup.gif

Same model as here. Well, let's see, 2 HDMI port (for b.yond & Blu-ray) is proabably more than enough. hmm.gif

Fyi. FOX Sports Plus HD new feed beamed from Hong Kong for SEA countries. There is now program titles indicated below the logo. For astro, astro is still taking dedicated Malaysia feed as there are BPL in HD on the MAL feed. No BPL on the new SEA feed. Also Pixs of mio Olympics channel, using mio Sports logo.

I Saw this...
What are the devices I can use to enjoy Astro GO Listen apps?
The devices on which you can currently access Astro GO Listen apps include iPhone(3Gs and above) with a software compatibility of iOS 64.0 and above.
Oh my how come iOS 64.0...don't know whether it's iOS 4.0 or 6.0..
too bad it's not avaliable for android yet...

hi guys, want to ask

does Wah Pack comes with Zhi Zhun HD?

I always thought that Zhi Zhun HD is an HD counterpart of WLT, but not sure if Wah Pack will come with it?

another thing is, if I were to customize the packages, the HD services option is unavailable, so does that mean I won't able to watch HBO HD even I have chosen movies pack? notworthy.gif

I noticed that in Astro's in-house channels on SD, there are certain shows that they broadcast which the quality is better than the quality of the commercials/some other shows on the same channel. This to me, means that the quality isn't determined by the channel, at least the in-house channels. They probably encode different videos using different settings or some other things, hence there are some video that appear much sharper and less pixelated than the rest. However, the same cannot be said for channels not operated by Astro, eg. CCTV, etc. One of the local stations, ntv7 has one of the poorest quality, the video colour is significantly dark and faded. CCTV, you can notice most of the smallish subtitles are hard to read, as they are so pixelated. And a large portion of Astro's pixelation actually can be seen as horizontal lines across. It's like the entire picture consists of visible horizontal strips put layered together. What do you guys think? I'm hoping since they have some shows with acceptable quality on SD, why not ensure the same consistency across all shows and channels. I'm quite disappointed with the every so often, overly pixelated and colour fade issues.

No, sorry to say that Wah pack is not come with Zhi Zhun HD, reason? This is the sales tactics for those viewer who want HD quality to upgrade to higher package (super pack). Same thing go to if you have wah package wanna add movie or sport package, you only get SD channel, HD channel is not included.

called the CS today, they said if you have selected "HD services", then any HD channels of the selected pack will appear, eg. Movies pack with HD services, means HBO HD can be viewed.

Zhi Zhun HD is not available in Wah Pack, because that belongs to Dynasty pack, and Dynasty pack can't be selected in Wah Pack, they only "release" WLT as an individual channel in Wah pack

if want to have "premium" TVB content, then either have to subscribe to Superpack 3, or custom build Dynasty pack+2 mini packs, of which the pricing is not so attractive

quite a way to rip money I guess when it comes to TVB contents

Just upgraded to PVR couple of days ago. Tried remote record function from my office. It works good so far. I think for myself who works at night its a useful feature to have. Hopefully the decoder can last for a long time. Is it ok to be on standby mode all the time? Or once in a while must plug off the power? Quite worried because its a different piece of tech compared to the normal ones
