oh, recently so many tactical games going to release.
I think this one have to wait sales because I gonna spend some for kickstarter WarMachine.
*
Im a bit afraid of Warmachine because it seemed overly ambitious.

500k goal is damn low for a Unreal Engine 3 game with not all the assets finished.

There is also Incognita from Klei soon, as alpha access. Quite excited with that to be honest.

If you have the time to play, get it as it is quite a difficult game to play initially.

Apparently,Ultimate Pack needs Origin which made it "awesome" where I really dislike how slow is Origin in logging in recently. And the download speed is getting worse.

I know, all new games. sweat.gif

its added as 17 individual games in origin. I have not added myself. my last download from origin is horrible.. took me 3 days to download me2
*
To be honest, i rather buy First Decade as it is DRM free and you dont need Origin at all.

Maybe can you add and try downloading Tiberium Dawn just to confirm whether you need Origin to play or not.

I might hold on getting TR as i dont think i want it now. I am kinda on a mode to collect all the past RTS games that i used to play or pirated.

Thanks for letting me know though.

Kinda feel like backing Satellite Reign and Warmachine Tactics.

Strategy games are really my weakness when it comes to sales or kickstarters.

Barista, making coffee for Gloria Jeans only.

Now, an engineer that makes less than a barista in Aus.

And the exchange rate from RM to USD or Pounds are dreadful to be honest.

Yeap. Its like minimum $10 an hour but usually its like $15 even for a door man at department stores.

Then weekends, you'll get double and 2.5x when you work on public holidays.

saw the video, they being like quite vague on features.. jus say best game and keep showing the animation
wonder how much they spend on making that video..
if u r a fan of warmachine tabletop then go ahead
else no harm wait and see how it turns out
this is by 2 company partnership, shudn be easy for 2 diff heads to work together especially considering gaming proj is often very complex..
*
It is still on the concept stage. Just that they have an engine and some art asset thats why im gonna pledge for the lowest tier.

Its a cool idea though.

Warmachine, its mainly is because i want more TBS games as if you can saturate the TBS market, then, RTS will be revived too.

its already confirmed even if u dun pledge the project still continues.  sweat.gif
that is already another tbs in the market
pledging to saturate a market is a bit extreme.. if market got demand all the tbs will continue to get pledged
*
TBS is still quite niche at the moment but to be honest, i actually like to see TBS to be more saturated as it will be a perfect genre for devs and publishers to port to consoles, PC and even mobile because i think its the only genre that actually works well across 3 platforms, considering everyone is thinking about having the widest audience. I rather see more TBS than more mobile F2P games or CoD.

Then, i think i might want to be part of this project as it seemed like something i want to play.

kof has been an anti-Venomancer a lot these days. sweat.gif Anti-Venomancer, sounds like a nice new hero for Dota. biggrin.gif

if it is something u wan play then okay.. after seeing the previous post by JinXXX kinda have to get cautious about kickstarter.. I think even if refunded foreigners like us will be last priority..

Well, the stuff i pledged so far are the games that i want to play. Definitely have to be cautious with kickstarter but i think its a sensible risk for me to take. I dont mind if i dont get refund as some of the KS project i pledged didnt turn out well for me and i like my money back but devs didnt want to give, like Elite Dangerous's devs just got listed on UK's share market where the company isnt indie anymore and the board will have creative control over the game now. Still, if Elite turns out fine, then, good for me. If its a stinker, i cant do anything then, as i contributed a tiny bit so that they have a shot to develop the game they want to make.

This game industry needs something like this, despite there are so many controversies as if crowd funding disappears and the indies are greatly weaken, the game industry will be a mess like what the music and movie industry is.

Venomancer job's is never done eh? brows.gif

despite wat happened kickstarter is here to stay imo.. even game company failed to deliver over 10 years also still alive (legendary duke nukem is one example)

I am holding my horses for merc king.. since its already on steam.. likely will have sale at some point..
stick to the cheapass rulez..  laugh.gif
*
Well if the pledger's confidence is gone, then, it will collapse too.

Hard to say now, but i think a lot of people just arent suitable to be involved in a crowdfunding project.

Just wait then, if Merc King is on sale, i might get it too. Not exactly something i want now as the game is lacking of content.
