The engine braking memang strong for this car.

The jerking characteristics wont completely go away, but you will get used to it with proper throttle control to minimize the jerking.

petrol can mix 95 and 97 no problem.

Going a bit over 1000km won't harm your car or your warranty. Just don't go overdue too much.
