well its not easy thought, especially driver side.passenger side u just remove or exposed the glovebox then u will see numbers of philips screw behind the trims.some screws u can't see but only can feel.yeah, need to remove it as well.
driver side u need to remove meter trim then the steering column cover.same method u need to see at the rear side of trims the philips screw location and remove it.

easiest is the gear lever trim and handbrake, just carefully pull it up..

the navi trim u needs to remove the a/c control panel and combination switch.only 2 philips screw at combination switch.
*
after i go and check the screws u mentioned, got them all discovered, just the driver side im not understand how to take it out rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

do u mind showing some snap shot on whr and how to open up the covers??

for the simota air filter, not recommended to tembak with air gun... coz it might enlarge the pores.

instead, can wash with mildly soaped warm water. Then drain and dry it using a hairdrier. Then lubricate with singer oil.

YES, singer oil. cheap and cheerful.
*
oh really blink.gif blink.gif

if singer oil can do the job then its easy as piece of cake for my pocket~~ rclxms.gif

thx for your sharing~~ notworthy.gif

In order to clear the air....and clear my stupid mistake in writing that post linked there...

What I meant is

LCP will shorten the time when upshifting the gear while originally the stock gear box will initially hold it back for a while before shifting upwards.

That means it will switch the gear pretty fast and increase acceleration without car pulling the car back (PE got major tendency to do that). Thus without LCP, I won't even consider driving PE now

LOL actually i totally got wat u meant, its just the way u expressed is abit rclxub.gif rclxub.gif well i shld said words sometime made problem sweat.gif

you can even use ATF if you want.  rolleyes.gif

just done oiling and changed the filter with the oem air filter, i think the last owner din even service the filter, the filter is all black and dusty sweat.gif sweat.gif

changed to simota drop in, went for a short testing trip, the low rpm pickup was noticeably improved, the intake sounds diff whn idle as well as stepping accel (i opened window just to see if it sounds diff)~

overall I would say money well spent on this lil goody~ thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

legal....just need to be inspected and endorsed by JPJ once done.

Manual cars generally has lower RV, not to mention new manual cars are cheaper than auto to begin with.
*
will the process cost a bomb? Cause been wanting to change the transmission in the coming future, will changing gb cause problem to the engine?

and where can i get the transmission from?

205/50/R15 Nitto Neogen seems reasonable
205/50/R15 Yokohama AD08R for extra hhhhnnnngggghhh
205/45/R16 Toyo T1R is easier to find
Michelin PS3 is has the best balance between wet and dry grip, but pricier
*
hmm... will 205/50 generate more traction? cos current 195/55 seems abit lazy to move..

bcos according to this guide, the air-con filter is suppose to be face downward, but mine is exactly behind the damn glovebox and fully blocked by all the metal mouldings....

there is something silly i wanna ask... are the aircond of neo cant be activated immediately after i start the engine? it always have a brief period of waiting time like 10~13 sec b4 it start working, furthermore, sometimes the compressor will turn off automatically after awhile (the light of the aircond knob gone off) and i nid to manually activate it again...

what is actually happening?

Not just neo bro.I tested with Merc and porsche too..still need to wait,BTW in the a/c repair manual(porsche) is stated to not full blast the A/C while in cold start phase and seems normal to me.

Regarding the a/c knob switch off by it self, happened to me too but a long long time ago.Now no more already.
*
hmm... hmm.gif hmm.gif guess i'll just bear with... it surely affects driving experiences but nah... not a big deal to switch it on myself nod.gif btw thx snail bro for your sharing~~ I was worry that my a/c got problem b4 this hahahaha silly me sweat.gif
