4.3 more responsive, better battery life? better performance?

New Nexus 7 is tempting

4.3 got alot minor enhancement. Main features is Multi account with restriction feature, GL ES 3.0 and smart bluetooth

anyone here using GE ROM as daily driver? How's the battery life compare to HTC Stock ROM?

Why do you ask whether it's silver or black? Is one known to be more durable than the other? =\

Hi guys, need some advice here.

Im on 4.1.2 rooted stock ROM, having CWM recovery.
Can i flash a custom ROM ARHD with CWM recovery without going back to stock ROM and locked first?

Really got messed up with the info out there and would like to confirm before going to do it.

It should be better. Try to take a look at your wakelocks ( partial etc )
You should get at least 3 hours SOT ( someone showed 4 hours few days back )

Hi guys..just asking for some opinion..
What's your best Rom + kernels so far for battery life. During standby.
the best I could do is only 4-5% drain for a period of 6-8 hours..

Using arhd 12.1 + elementalx 3.3..uv 50m, no oc

That rom combo is good n your battery drain is quite good already ( assuming your 3g is on). You should be happy with it
If you want lower you can try install some 3rd party battery saving apps which might or might not work
Having used so many Android none can ever match my previous xperia z where with 3g on n active fb n mail refresh battery drop over 7-8 hours hardly 1% n this is due to Sony stamina mode. All this on stock rom n kernel

Hey peeps, having this abnormal battery drain during standby/sleep since I restart the phone for the first time after the 4.2.2 update. Any 1 encounter this? Previously update d the battery is awesome but after restart it becomes like this, Android System consume most of the battery.

Mine is sometimes giving me battery drain as in 3 hours from 100 become 50%. After restart the phone, it seems to be ok again. weird after updated to 4.2.2

my 3g is off, wifi off.. but anyway its still fine with me..not a problem..
its just that afterall we are always looking for optimization.. ^^

hmm..weird for you..maybe like others would advise, you should install wakelock detector and see whats running behind them...or wait a few charge cycle???

seems like i'm not alone. hopefully htc provides another fix update to overcome this issue.

In the meantime, do install either gsam battery monitor or betterbatterystats to understand more what could
be causing battery drain. Once identify few wakelocks, proceed to disable them or minimize sync if you use them.

You managed to find any seller?
Those who use before said it could scratch your edges.
I never use so dunno if it's true or not.
