Hey guys, I'm seriously considering getting this phone. I wanted to ask:

1. It seems a few batches of this phone had some quality control and design issues. For example, the screen glass was not parallel to the edges of the body, etc. Have these issues been done away with now? Should I look for an HTC One manufactured after a certain date to avoid any such problems?

2. How is the Wifi range on this phone? How does it compare to Sumsang's S3, S4, or Note 2? I had an Xperia SP, and its Wifi range sucked so I returned it; I don't want that to be an issue with this phone. =\

Why do you ask whether it's silver or black? Is one known to be more durable than the other? =\

Oh. xD My bad. Sigh, getting a smartphone is so much commitment, sometimes I feel like I should just stick to a low-end device or even a dumbphone. But in any case, I'll be sure to let you know if I end up getting the One. ^^

Woah, that full-phone protector looks awesome! Didn't think it would look that good..

Anyone know any HTC shops in the KL area where I can test the phone? I know there's an HTC store in KLCC but they've only got dummies.

Since the battery is such a hot-topic at the moment, I'd like to ask: how long does the battery last on the phone with a full charge and mild usage? By mild usage I mean you leave only about 3 or 4 apps on when not using the phone (let's say FB, Viber, and Whatsapp), and maybe 30 minutes each of phone calls, browsing, and gaming. Wifi on, but data off.

I know it might be a dumb question since battery life is hard to test for in different conditions, but can anyone give me rough estimate of how long the phone will last under those conditions?

Man, I went to LowYat Plaza today, and there's this shop there called Hotspot and it was selling the One for RM1999! It was the 32 GB version, but that's still like RM200 cheaper than the suggested retail price! Such a pity they didn't have the 64 GB version, with a similar promotion price otherwise I'd have had that sexy thing in my possession already!

Although, yeah the N4 was pretty cheap there too!
