phablets are still like freaks, neither here nor there.
at best, its for a niche market where ppl with poor eyesight can benefit.

still prefer a phone which can easily put into pocket without a nasty bulge, and able to operate single-hand.

htc one is just a little too big. sometimes will accidentally press the other side of the screen when reaching out to the right and vice verce.

maybe a htc one mini for me.

Guys,is this normal for a new phone
[attachmentid=3570915]

Actually that is ok. Although if you optimize more you can get better results. I assumed you haven't optimize anything yet since just got the phone. I suggest you install betterbatterystats. It's better than GSAM Battery monitor in my opinion.

Actually what do you mean by "optimize"? Just started following this forum not long ago, pardon me if there is anything I'm not familiar with tongue.gif And my HTC One is Silver 32GB, thanks smile.gif

Means that you can try to figure out which apps are draining your battery. You can also change your sync cycle by only syncing apps that you need and don't sync apps that you don't need. There are many things that you can do to improve battery life of your phone.

The best time to check for SOT is when battery is low?
I dunno how2 read all the things there sweat.gif
I got 2.01 SOT on 24% battery left nia, maybe because of my digimon unlimited constantly running i the background?
*
Normally check SOT when battery is low around 5%. You can either use GSAM battery monitor or betterbatterystats. Personally i think betterbatterystats is better. If you just got 2.01 SOT that means something running in background. If you managed everything accordingly, you should get at least 4 hours SOT.

Just post screenshot of your SOT then we'll guide you how to read and interpret it.

After a while living with juice shortage on HO , today the first day I use Ascend Mate as my main device during working hour.. And working OT today dealing with urgent case, just reach home now. 100% at 7am. Below is screenshot taken just now at this time. I would say HO battery is minion compare to this. biggrin.gif data on all the time, frequent checking email, Fb sometimes, WhatsApp, surf web sometime during breaks, several calls.. Still plenty of juice I guess enough to run another working day.  Kudos..  notworthy.gif  if HO like this, I have no reason to look at other phone, I guess.

The battery capacity almost twice lah! tongue.gif
Unfortunately most smart phones sub 5 inch have around 2000+ mAH battery. Only bigger screen phones have bigger sized battery. If HTC One have battery like Ascend Mate it would be perfect. Then again, HTC One have to be 6 inch as well cry.gif

A noob question here, does the HTC One that sells in Digi has LTE chips that is usable in Malaysia? I'm a Maxis user but wishing to use my sister's Digi line to purchase the HTC One, so very curious whether can I use the HTC One from Digi on Maxis LTE services or not.
*
All official HTC One sold in Malaysia got LTE.

I got the 18000mAh unit.  Using the 2A port it takes nearly 4 hours to charge my XZU ( 3000 mAh battery)  from near empty to full.  Quite disappointing result I would say.  I bought it from Amazon.

Normally if you use Sony charger, how long it will take Uncle?

hey guys, just want to ask for your opinion. i really love htc one, it got everything i i like e.g beats, front camera, sexy body etc but the day when i want to buy new smartphone, i read complaints about htc one, the problems, replacement also in htc malaysia fb people complain a lot about after sales service so i buy s4 and now i regret because i dont like it. so is it worth for me to sell the s4 and buy htc one or just keep the s4? to be honest, i rarely used the s4. only day one mb.
*
If I were you I will sell the S4. What's the point of keeping a phone that you don't like? Unless it's a gift from someone. Since S4 price dropped like crazy, better you sell it fast. Go and buy the red One brows.gif

if you ask Uncle Benny, he will recommend you to buy XZU.  tongue.gif

honestly, HTC One is an awesome phone, especially if the design is your cup of tea. some ppl don't like the design/

performance wise, i couldn't ask for more, running flawlessly in my day by day usage.. the 4mp camera gives better picture than some 8mp camera phone especially the 2012 model, i mean, 4mp camera doesn't mean it that bad, but of course not the best, but really good in low light condition..

the only thing that i wish for more is juice… thats all.

If battery like Ascend Mate it will be perfect flex.gif

wow red so good looking. wish HTC Max will have red color as well.

Red launched much later than silver and black. Back then it was more like rumors. Not confirmed.
Selling your ZU? Not nice ka or lack of LTE? hmm.gif

I would have waited for red color if I knew it will be available doh.gif

I love HTC One design. But, some ppl make me stop from making decision to choose HTC One coz its limited spare parts and accessories. And now I confuse, S4 or One. rclxub.gif

Well if you like something, you should not let what others say to stop you. After all everyone have different preferences. You just got to find out which one works best for you. Well if you buy motorola will be a bit problem since they no longer here. HTC is here so i don't see why limited spare parts should be a concern. With regards to accessories, you can always buy it online if the one that you want is not available. In fact I think you get more excellent accessories through online.
