hi guys this HTC one satisfactory to I ou all? also, what are the chances of getting the faulty unit (problems mentioned on page 1) by buying it from the trusted seller like Directd?

I used HTC sensation XE before, and I feel HTC is somewhat make a satisfactory product for me... so I'm thinking to buy new phone whether this HTC One or the Iphone 5...

oh damn... anybody have problem of charging over-night and spoilt the battery ? what do then? send in to HTC for repair? If no warranty can be how much the repair cost? huhu

Actually the alu body makes no different IMO, still going to use case because its prone to scratch so much!
It's a shame and im really disappointed with HTC One's build quality

well, ive spent my evening while waiting for buka puasa reading that thread, it seems, people there take care alot of their device, and yet it still crack..and its happens out of nowhere, thats what make me scare, its 2.2k u know..

HTC did an excellent job replacing my friend HTC one motherboard.  I couldn't see any trace of casing being removed. The very very minor gaps that was there has even improved. Biggest issue was he needed to wait about 40  days for it.
One week after I sent in for him he bought another unit (64gb). Two days after I got it back for him, I sold on his behalf. He make a loss of rm1400 selling it as he needed to pay rm700 for the motherboard change. Anyway this is peanuts loss as he change phones like it costs him nothing!!!

yeah,just watched htc one hammer test on youtube,he smack it pretty hard,still no crack whatsoever on that unit..kinda relief abit..

Hey guys don't complaint about the build , there are ways of problem solving .
you can have xtreamguard as the back cover to cover it or if you very typical please go and get the aluminum side protect , so you can skip the casing .
= D , it's not going to change once you have bought it into your hand .

agreed. i bought the phone and enjoy the premier feel. in order not to scratch it so much, i bought a case. it's trade off, it's either u get scratch or wear a case. it's still a good phone. well, i already said i will go naked after few month of usage. currently will still protect it first.

Anyone using celcom here? Can you get LTE connection using your HTC One? Celcom's website says quite a lot of areas already got LTE, and i've been to those areas, but i dont recall of ever seeing the LTE sign on my phone. LTE is supposedly 10 times faster than Unifi (VIP5). Any celcom users here has managed to get LTE on their phone?

When I got my HTC One, I went to Celcom to change my SIM card from the normal size to the micro SIM. I thought the new micro SIM would be 4G already. Do I need to specifically request for a 4G SIM card?
