QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Aug 3 2013, 10:40 PM) Actually not really can, fonts too small, later your eye became chicken. uncle Benny use font size of 150%, that why can, if under default 100% then it is way too small for comfortable view. I actually use 170% n I can still see everything in desktop view : the advantage of a big display, even so on Mate 6.1 inch display too

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Aug 3 2013, 10:47 PM) Wow! 170% sure can view nicely. True n I don't understand why want to view at 100% when even at 170% can see everything in desktop view

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Aug 3 2013, 10:57 PM) I just try at 170%, wow! It is big! Too bad not all site working, example not for GSMArena or XDA. I put 100% as certain site do mess up when scaling font over 100% I am using boat browser. Still can see full desktop site. But than I always use mobile version as far as possible if site permits

QUOTE(un_id @ Aug 4 2013, 08:33 AM) Haha.. yup, going to play with Mate first while waiting for my HTC One (hopefully new unit) come back from warranty.. haha ya i'm lucky because coincidently uncle benny is selling this Mate while i'm thinking to look for a replacement phone. Maybe next you can target for his xzu.. lol.. im sure uncle is going for honami Wro..ong pal. I will now never consider buying any phones with display less than 5.5 inch. All such phones below 5.5 inch I already find it to be too toylike. Honami definitely not interested

QUOTE(nuttyking91 @ Aug 4 2013, 11:22 AM) just because i'm a student, its slightly cheaper than maxis. n I'm tied to the contract... If not I would have just switch to Maxis... My mum is one loyal Maxis user... more than 15 yrs do u know just how awesome is LTE speed? urrgh DiGi I sympathetise with your situation. Using a high specs LTE phone but on DiGi. Just similar to buying a bus n ferry only few passengers daily. I would said you make a mistake getting phone from Digi. Their data rates are not that much cheaper vs Maxis/Celcom n worst their current 3g/h speeds are poorer too vs U mobile, Maxis n Celcom.

QUOTE(playxboxwii @ Aug 6 2013, 04:22 AM) Compare htc one and htc one x.. How is the battery? Minor or major improvement..? Htc one x surely is one of the worst smartphone battery ..tht i hve used so far 3x charge a day -.- ..and that is just for browsing only no games.. HTC One X has the worst battery life of all the Androids I have used. It runs too hot with just above an hour of usage. This causes greater battery drain. HTC One is obviously way much better. It is easily at least 50% or more better than HOX. The succeeding model HOX+ is even worse n luckily it comes with a bigger battery to compensate it. For battery usage I will never recommend the HOX or HOX+.

QUOTE(smiley.kambing @ Aug 6 2013, 07:14 PM) Limeade just landed.. charging up » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I got the 18000mAh unit. Using the 2A port it takes nearly 4 hours to charge my XZU ( 3000 mAh battery) from near empty to full. Quite disappointing result I would say. I bought it from Amazon.

QUOTE(kingsora @ Aug 6 2013, 07:21 PM) Normally if you use Sony charger, how long it will take Uncle? I haven't use my Sony Charger. I always use my ipad charger to charge all my gadgets. With it it took only 2.25-2.5 hours This XZU has fast charge feature builtin. Other 3000 mAh battery eg mega 6.3, note2 normally 3 hours This post has been edited by benny888: Aug 6 2013, 07:26 PM

QUOTE(samson1618 @ Aug 6 2013, 08:10 PM) ipad charger can charge htc? really Y..Y i guess i had a bad luck last time i use the Apple charger to charge my htc ... next morning can't turn on ... send back warranty diagnose said that htc itself power cut off from stop high voltage charge into phone and then they warranty back to me 2 weeks later . Why not? I have been using it to charge incredible s, sensation, one x, one x+ n HTC one. You are unlucky. I have never used original charger that comes with the phone. I have yet to experience any problems on my phone n tablets.

QUOTE(un_id @ Aug 7 2013, 09:31 AM) if you ask Uncle Benny, he will recommend you to buy XZU. honestly, HTC One is an awesome phone, especially if the design is your cup of tea. some ppl don't like the design/ performance wise, i couldn't ask for more, running flawlessly in my day by day usage.. the 4mp camera gives better picture than some 8mp camera phone especially the 2012 model, i mean, 4mp camera doesn't mean it that bad, but of course not the best, but really good in low light condition.. the only thing that i wish for more is juice… thats all. In the 5 inch class , my choice is definitely S4 not HTC One. Next will be Xperia Z and sadly HTC 1 ranks last for me Don't flame me - that is based on my experience using all these 3 phones. And don't turn this post of mine into any debate. My needs/taste are definitely different from many of you guys. What I can say HTC1 is still a good phone though is never my preferred choice. HTC 1 only great features is its great speakers quality ( but I hate the look of the speakers and placement which looks like a lastminute placement on top; I'd have prefer the speakers to be hidden behind the case like Butterfly). And I prefer HTC Butterfly design over the HTC1 anytime. This post has been edited by benny888: Aug 7 2013, 10:18 AM

QUOTE(un_id @ Aug 7 2013, 10:21 AM) totally understood uncle, at the end of the day it is more to personal preferences, like how you prefer bigger screen phone while other or most ppl might say it is too big for a phone.. hey i managed to update the Mate to B217 already… i really wish 4.2 come soon for this device.. i started to like it for some purposes, but still prefer HO for a phone.. still haven't get a chance to send my HO to service centre. (sorry out of topic ) Just sent in to Times Square but those counter staffs at Time Square in one word is HOPELESS. Both of them has little knowledge about the phones. One male chap there cannot even talk properly in English and I pity him struggling to converse with me. At the end of it , I told him to talk in Mandarin. He had to go to back of the office to keep asking for answers . The other lady is equally bad seeing how she talk to another customer. The older staffs at Plaza Berjaya are so much more knowledgeable and professional ( and looks well educated too unlike those 2 at Times Square) - you talk to them, they give you confidence. I wonder what happen to them ?? Or try Kelana SIS Center and was told service is better there

QUOTE(bakkutteh @ Aug 10 2013, 05:29 PM) i just wonder how to add "the edge malaysia" into blinkfeed.. anyone? You cannot add your own feeds except what is offered by HTC. Maybe next firmware update will fix this to allow user own input

QUOTE(kuanyu @ Aug 10 2013, 04:46 PM) Every place. It disconnects for about two seconds. Sucks when you're streaming videos. The mobile data works like a charm tho. Weird I suggest you send in service center to check the wifi module. WiFi issues seems to plaque previous HTC models - butterfly, one x n users had feedback issue rectified after sent in to service

QUOTE(douglas_tong @ Aug 11 2013, 10:47 PM) make sure during update, phone is not charged. Any reason why not? I would say let it charged so that you won't run out of power incase you get constant reboots. I Always have phone charge while updating firmware

QUOTE(ykc @ Aug 13 2013, 04:43 PM) Hi RRP is still RM2299 (32GB) and RM2499 (64GB) ??? if so, is there any hanky panky for the 3 sellers in Garage Sales listed in first page for selling much lower price ? Official retail is always higher than 3rd party sellers. You see the same trend in Samsung n Sony too cheaper by RM200-300
