QUOTE(kingsora @ Jul 21 2013, 06:23 PM) [attachmentid=3546503] Well I guess I'm stucked with the older firmware then... with the unstable maxis line If you don't root xxx707.1 is the latest version for this region. Your firmware is EU-based depending on which ROM you use. Is it really related to the software version? Anw when I setup phone I only get option to choose between maxis 2g and 3g, no 4g, why? |

Anyone here using maxis? Do we need to change sim card for LTE? I called customer service just now and she said no need. The icon will change to 4G/LTE on the right place isnt it?

QUOTE(natzakaria @ Jul 22 2013, 11:18 AM) unless if you stay for over a month, its not worth to get local sim.. it costs USD$60+ just to get a number, if i'm not mistaken.. most number here are on contract, if fact normally ppl buy a phone to get a number.. so telco here are good in ripping tourist/visitor by putting high charge for pre-paid/temporary number.at the time being i'm just using wifi for communication. well, my Digi number is on roaming, but i turn off the operator, unless if needed emergency This post has been edited by un_id: Jul 22 2013, 11:33 AM |

The icon will cchange to 4G/LTE on the right place isnt it? Try to use in LTE area first. If can't use LTE then have to go changed a new SIM card. maxis charged RM25 for it. Although you no need to pay if you call them first before exchanging. |
