*

Hmm g-sync surely will have issues for early adopters.

How about spikes up and especially down?? Frame latencies etc. at what point will it help.

interesting tech. But hmm there must be a reason why variable refresh rates were never considered in the past.
*
l thought g sync was suppose to fix those fps spike up and downs!?

I agree with him. Nobody seems to think negative effect of variable refresh rates

Think about this, ur monitor is refreshing 60hz suddenly it refresh 20 hz. Its like changing ur CRT monitor from 100hz to 60hz.

It is the reason why we have movies/TV running at constant 24/30/60fps.
*
if g sync can only help stutter, srsly l can go back to 120hz monitors doh.gif now suffering when my fps drops from 60 to 40 like massive spikes lags!

Here is Guru3D's power supply recommendation:

GeForce GTX 780 Ti - On your average system the card requires you to have a 550 Watt power supply unit.
I guess it's not the power supply problem .

Damn sad lor..
*
running silverstone essential 750w here, this is why lm unsure what is the actual cause for black screen, maybe u could try what l did, or hook up mobo display and check?

i dont understand why they take so long to release custom versions, when the GTX780 Ti customs all appearing dee
*
maybe 290x will get burnt more quickly than 780ti? saw what galaxy/nvidia had done with the 780ti pcb?

kindly refrain yourself from posting this kind of meaningless comment  doh.gif
They've been using the PCB for 780 instead of 780Ti, that's when things started to get scorching hot. They've already announced the suspension and recall.
290X will be sizzling hot on the reference cooler, but up to date I haven't seen any burnt 290X like what happened to the 780Ti.  sweat.gif
*
argee, my guess is what took 290x so long to get custom cooling maybe IMO is the similar issue with the galaxy 780ti, l mean amd card can boil on 95c no problem while 780ti max temp is only 83c can be exploded, Waw sweat.gif 290x could be a hard piece of card to bake

well, that won't be much issue for most enthusiasts out there as they will pretty much WC this card. tongue.gif
The 780Ti tragedy... really burned the green camp a lot, right after the 320.18 WHQL which killed a lot of cards back then.
Nvidia really needs to start doing something different and better, or else...  doh.gif

nvidia are not in shape after the release of titan, maybe overconfidence? whistling.gif kinda hope they could pull up something interesting on thier maxwell chip on q1 2014

After running both Gtx 770's on 2 way SLi, Might as well i jst stick with a single Gpu 780Ti / 780 .On some games i see improvement on SLi mode & not so much on other games.
*
how can it be!? 770 sli should outperform single 780 doesnt it? unless driver related issue!?
