The release of GTX 770 really killed off second hand prices of GTX 680. By default, a stock 770 is already on par or slightly faster than quite a number of factory overclocked 680s in the market. Brand new stock GTX 770 from Zotac starts from RM1349 only. biggrin.gif For higher end cards like GTX 780 or Titan, the impact of diminishing returns is clearly inherent here, as the performance gain is measly compared to what you pay for. However, in terms of raw performance, they're in a class of their own here.

I can think of 3 models:

1. Zotac GTX 770 AMP! Edition
2. Palit GTX 770 Jetstream
3. MSI GTX 770 Lightning

All 3 models come with a higher clock speed of 1150 MHz. But Zotac has a slightly increased memory speed of 7200 MHz compared to the other 2 models (7010 MHz). So basically on specifications alone, Zotac 770 AMP! Edition is the fastest of the 3.

ok thanks bro. tempted to upgrade to it, but not sure if its worth it. i mean, im quite slow now in gaming, more time spent on other stuffs. sad.gif

if i can get 1.2k-1.3k on my card and add a few hundreds and get the lightning, it sounds quite tempting.

It's not worth it if you're moving up from a 680 to 770. The performance difference isn't much.

Guys, I believe I found a review for Leadtek's GTX 770.

Card in the review - PNY KF770GTX2GEPB

Looks similar, no? nod.gif However, the PNY card used in the review runs at 1150 MHz (1202 MHz boost), compared to Leadtek's one running at 1059 MHz (1111 MHz boost). Review here.

when res is higher than the difference is around 30 to 35%

Note GTX 780 is not meant for 1080p or 1200p if u are planing to use it on 1080p or 1200p than u are really wasting it.

Excluding Newegg, cheapest I see is from Ideal Tech (zhen^wei), RM1799 for the 770 Lightning.

Correct. They will charge you based on conversion rate. Price (in USD) x 3.2 + RM85 (shipping fee). Something like that IINM.
