Not really. We could price it RM 30-50 more and there will still be people who would pay more for the Black PCB and extra 2 years warranty over any brands. Zotac reduced the price on new shipment so we simply passed on the savings.
On top of the new pricing. Zotac will also be giving out freebies with all the Zotac cards.

We can get all models into Malaysia within days, and our inventory seldom dip below 0 for more than 2-3 days.
Sorry, I forgot to mention that I was referring to the standard reference version. It is true that Zotac packs more benefit, particularly the 3 years extended warranty and the black PCB. But in my humble opinion, the black PCB is purely for aesthetic purposes only. And at its previous price of RM899, being RM100 more than its closest competition, the Leadtek reference 760 (with its blue PCB

) would offer a very viable alternative instead. No offence intended, but that's why you hardly see people recommending Zotac's reference card. People are likely still getting it right now as Leadtek isn't physically available yet in our stores, per se. But now with its new updated pricing, I strongly believe that Zotac's reference version is now a great consideration at a RM800 budget.
The AMP! Edition on the other hand is a different story. Being just RM50 more than the reference version's previous price, it is the logical step to get this one instead if budget allows.

All in all, as zhen^wei pointed out above, competition is always good and customers will be the one that ultimately reaps the benefit in the end. Also, it's always nice to see manufacturers try to bundle something extra for customers.
