Bunch of sales related people still refused to surrender? Based on what you are selling, ofcourse, you sell only accessories. The others, something else. Anyway, whatever you bunch selling, they are related to Inspira sales. More people buy Inspira means higher chance they will buy things from you.
You should know, if you are into sales line, you should not offend others especially getting into personal fight which is bad for your business. Since you so doubtful on the 50kg difference, feel free to clarify with MMC technical department for full details. Remember to specify Lancer '07 to '12. Not the current detuned variant.
Whatever thing is, the Lancer has been around since '07. It could be phased out anytime. You may stick to your Inspira and hope people would still pay RM90k for phased out car.
The Forte that is further development out of the Lancer frame is also under replacement left only with remaining stock to clear off to make way for new Rio 1.6L sedan. You still want to argue about Lancer & Inspira? Wake up.
so how about lancer then?? u pay more than rm120k for a phase out car?
but wikipedia states Forte 1st gen is based on Hyundai HD platform, and Hyundai HD platform was never linked with Lancer platform.
the Rio 3rd Gen (UB) platform is also based on Hyundai Accent (RB) platform so how can it be related to the new Kia K3/Cerato, which is based on Hyundai Elantra (MD) platform?

You didn't know, Hyundai-Kia engines are developed with assistance from MMC-Chrysler? You didn't know Forte is based on the Lancer frame too? That is why it has the higher middle centre on the floor rear. If Forte is not based on Lancer platform, they would have made in flat like in the newer Elantra and Cerato floor. Torsion beam doesn't take as much space as Multi-Link. What makes you think the Koreans out of nowhere get all the tech? MMC currently focus on selling tech rather than cars. They earn more from doing so compared to risk losing in selling cars.
From wikipedia: The cylinder block and other basic structural parts of the engine were jointly developed by the GEMA companies, but the intake and exhaust manifolds, the cylinder head’s intake and exhaust ports, and other elements related to engine tuning were independently developed by Mitsubishi.
So wikipedia tipu? your higher source of technical confirm this?
Mitusbishi Lancer is using the GS platform woh, neva stated also this platform is being shared by Hyundai or Kia?
The manufacturere sharing the GS platform are: Chrysler/Fiat, Peugot/Citroen and of coz Proton Inspira. So wikipedia lie again?
