You wife screamed... You should look at my wife's face  rclxub.gif  ranting.gif  vmad.gif  bangwall.gif  mad.gif

Some say, it's not a good practice / habit to let you fuel empty like that. Not sure why...  hmm.gif  Maybe some urban legend...

The remaining range is showing based on your fuel remaining in the main tank not the back up tank.. You can check the manual to see how big the back up tank capacity is.. Normally it should be about 5liter so theoretically you can go another 100km after the range shows 0 (assuming 20km/l) smile.gif

Major service every 40,000km. You have another 10,000 km to go, at 120,000km. If done at Honda SC, it would cost about RM1.2k (Aircond, CVT oil, engine oil, etc).

Yup... But don't let it go below 50%. Good 12v battery is needed to power up the hybrid controller circuitry. It might mess up with hybrid battery level monitoring. Happen to my 2012 Jazz Hybrid once. Too busy to get it changed. My hybrid battery level drop's too quickly and it took too long to gain any charge. Once I change the 12v battery, all as good as new. thumbup.gif No permanent damage.

The engine is used to charge the hybrid battery. Hybrid battery is used to charge the 12v battery, charging controlled by hybrid controller system, some sort of DC-DC converter. Good 12v battery is needed to maintain the hybrid controller system (still runs on 12v power system whistling.gif ).

Just bought 2018 Jazz Hybrid and after two weeks just filled up tank. First tank was able to do 620km, mix of city and highway driving with econ mode off when driving on highway.

On the digital panel, the screen on the right has an option to see whether the drive is coming from battery or motor...however I've realised the battery is never full. It's always half or 3/4. Is this normal?
*
620km is bad , i can easily do 750km on cities and up to 940km on highways

got people who have gotten 1000km.....
