Yup signal on left. Free 4 airbag compare to ckd.
If color green and red.. Sure CBU
*
Oh it is red color the one i view just now. Super quiet interior. drool.gif

CKD also reverse wiper system? The silver color unit I check yesterday, it is reverse wiper system too..the boss unable to tell me if CKD or CBU. Number of airbag also unsure.

Ahh I just go to view that car, is CBU unit. Is the signal terbalik means it is CBU? This unit with 6 airbag, yesterday unit signal also terbalik but the dealer seem everything asked said not confirm..

Very nice car I fall in love with it haha, the dealer said even hybrid battery die still can start and drive like normal car just fuel consumption will increase flex.gif

Main difference -
auto headlight & auto wiper - can see the sensors on the windscreen
Rear disc brake
6 separate airbags - 2 front, 2 on side front seats, 4 curtains (considered as 2).
Paddle shift
Signal on the left (European style) thumbup.gif

That's the most visible cue...

Yup, can drive even if hybrid battery totally dead / offline. Happen to my CBU Jazz before... the main hybrid controller fuse problem. No assist from hybrid system, the system 100% offline. The car feels like sluggish, 1.3L car only. The fuse was replace for free by Honda. That was 3 years ago.

As till now, no other issue. Touch wood. thumbup.gif Perform as good as new.

Is signal at the right means CKD or CKD also having the same? Yesterday unit is silver which I prefer for color, but dealer seems everything not sure, how many airbag, still under warranty or not he ask me go ask honda service center he just sell car hmm.gif

Today test drive then only i know what is paddle shift, the dealer show me, haha and told that it's CBU unit written in geran.

Only CBU unit the signal on the left. In 2012, that unit supposed to be in UK market, but Honda bring in some to Malaysia. If you look at the original manual, most of the writing in there refers to UK rules & regulations.

And the fuel consumption - it being measured as xxx L/100km (CBU) instead of xxx km/L (CKD).

Maybe...

No local assembly Honda have signal on the left, if I'm not mistaken of course... hehe

I'll take some photos of my CBU Jazz later today (after work) for you as visible comparison. The key differences.

I do. Every 10,000km only. My Jazz Hybrid turning 6 years old in 2 month. The inside (peek via engine oil cap) of the engine still shines like new. No browning sludge can be seen. thumbup.gif

I use that too for my 13 years old Odyssey (RB1, 2005). Similar effect and the engine still running smooth like new. thumbup.gif

Second hand, finally got it this week!! I get a ckd instead of cbu. Year 2014...

Pre owner said the service is 5000km, could we request for 10000km? I need to service in 4 months time for 10000km currently.

Also, the battery still under warranty until 2022, wonder if continue service at Honda better or do it outside?

Yup, the service interval is 5,000km. Nor sure if that possible without voiding the hybrid battery warranty.

I would rather spend a bit more by servicing with Honda. They have all equipment and formal training (up to date). Cars nowadays 'riddled' with complex electronics and software (ECU, etc). All of this comes from Honda direct. Very difficult for 3rd party to have direct access.

One of my friend, he had been sending his 2002 Honda City iDSI to Honda. Till date, his car runs like brand new. thumbup.gif Well maintained by Honda (Shared Auto). thumbup.gif

Which service centre you called? Normally Honda SC will pick up call in no time.

Most SC, better to book a slot because walk in slot not many and if it full, you car will be last in the daily queue. whistling.gif
