Same as mine, previously looking for jazz hybrid. After problem with stock, switch to petrol. Book last saturday, loan approved yesterday and this saturday can get my jazz.

The problem is, my sa call again inform me that the black jazz hybrid that i looking for now available. But will get it after raya. This make me rethink again, since after rebate, the different is only 5k

RM10k discount is government initiative? U is Utusan reporter?

The RM10k discount is purely on Honda Malaysia initiative, not government... Please get ur facts right, even if you is a fan of our government...

Ya, i ve been test for both..not much different on the feeling while u drive..but both have their own pros and con.
Definitely the petrol will win in term of performance wise. The hybrid quiet slow on pickup. The aircond, i think same for both, dont know for the cbu version. I dont feel the aircond was off during idle for the hybrid. But as everybody know, hybrid win over the petrol on the fuel consumption. With the price only different 5k after rebate, the different only about the pickup and smooth acceleration for petrol, while hybrid give u less money to spend on fuel. Prsonal opinion, hybrid win for the long run

when i went to honda showroom and test drive, they only have Honda City for me to test, which is using same engine with jazz petrol, and i compare it to Jazz Hybrid, Climbing up steep hill jazz hybrid a lot more better..and jazz hybrid a lot more silent and smoother than city....not sure bout the jazz petrol...

interm of performance, by looking at the size of engine, jazz petrol for sure is better, but hybrid performance is not that bad also..

becoz its ckd version thats why honda can offer such lower price..
whether its government initiative or not, i think partly yes, but the current promotion price is not due to the tax insentive for hybrid car, but instead allowing honda to open their plant in malaysia and produce CKD version with price much cheaper

I compared both brochure for RM 4.9k savings you lose the following:

no auto wiper but intermittent wiper system
no paddle shift
no auto cruise
no hill start assist
rear brake system is drum old fashion
no steering wheel audio control->come on Honda, proton saga already got this
No power door lock mentioned in the brochure
no Halogen light mentioned in the brochure
CKD steering ratio is higher (doesn't make much of a different but higher ration means more turns)- why is it higher for a car that is almost the same?
No glove box cooler i suppose
