i love manja manja dog also  .
My shushu only manja with me if nobody is around.
If got other people or dog, his interest will be focused there.
Want to call him to come also susah......   

Sometimes, I feel that female doggies are more obedient and calm. Male ones tend to me more hyper and adventurous. I wonder if shushu is a female, would his attitude become different?

The funny thing is when I am not around, my grandma told me he is very guai. (when only my grandma and him alone in the house)
He seldom play with his toys, but just follow my grandma around. If my grandma take a afternoon nap, he also sleep near her.
But the moment I come back from work, he become hyper - take toys and play, jump here and there, make lots of noise, disturb everyone in the house..... I also don't know why

manja or not manja, adventurous or not...don't depend on SEX at all 

my pacco is 1 example....she's actually a girl..(juz tat no one seems to notice)

He once try to jump on my grandma before when she was sitting on the sofa coz my grandma seldom call him - that time, my grandma suddenly call out his name and he was so happy he jump on my grandma. Luckily she was sitting on the sofa. Really scared my grandma
We scolded him kau kau that time......now he is very careful with her That's why if can, we don't encourage him to jump on people.

he is really ganas with me    Sometimes he got too excited when playing - he will bite my hand, very painful.... my hand and legs got a lot of bruises

Wednesday, me + Queen going jogging at oil palm estate again. 

2 to 3 cups of keeble a day .

go alone. I'm quite familiar with that place already. 

well im going to see it this weekend as friend's friend moving to an apartment which doesnt allow dogs... so she gotta give it away.. either goes to RSPCA or me    heres some pictures of it...

I think Hun's furkid is a ckcs, toy breed. Will Abby fight with a smaller dog? If not, then it should be fine gua.

You are bringing abby and chelsea to 1U alone? So keng can handle 2 big dogs alone ...    I am still trying my best with one at the moment.

Shushu is still growing and I almost cannot restrain him now as he is very strong already. I lost my temper last sunday at the training coz shushu drag me all the way through the field and I crash into the trees and bushes nearby. Got quite some bruises on my arm bacause of this. I hit him slightly on the side of his mouth with my palm and scolded him on the spot but I end up kena lecture by the trainer there because I hit him with my hand.  He said never hit the dog with any of your body part because it will spoil the relationship between the handler and the dog, and ask me to use the force from the choke chain or hit him with the leash as punishment instead.

Later I saw him teaching another owner how to control her lab who likes to charge and fight with other dog when he sees one. The trainer was using shushu as a bait coz we are sitting nearby. Everytime the lab charges at shushu, he kena jerk back by the choke chain (quite forcefully). But this lab was very stubborn and still want to attack shushu after being jerk quite a number of times. Shushu was very blur and thought he just wanted to play so he was wagging his tail and jump a little at him. Then, he uses one end of the leash and hit the lab on the nose when he charge again and scold him no. It looks very painful. Even shushu saw it also back away and become quiet. After that, the lab really stop charging anymore and sit quietly at the owner side.

IMO though choke chain and leash is effective, sometimes it is very painful to the dog and as the owner you also will feel "sam tong". I know hitting with the hand is no good but I do know the force of my own hand. 

Aiyoo like tat ah... I like to use my hand to hit prince nose wor but very light 1 la... not heavy hit... ok la.. next time i use my slipper to hit his face if he naughty...

but hit so many time liao prince still very good "kamching" with me and very manja wor

I haven't use cane so far. I do have a feather duster and a plastic stick which i used to hit the sofa or the floor to make a loud noise. He is scared of them. The problem is when he did something wrong and everytime i took out the stick  - he will start running hysterically around the living room area, like a uncontrolled F1 car... That is before I even start to punish him. He hurt himself before when running like that so I can't punish him anymore but will have to calm him down instead....   So end up I couldn't disclipine him for the mistake done.
That's what the trainer advise. Probably maybe we don't hit them very hard, so they are not afraid of us.

Btw Prince pappy, I saw on the other thread that you are looking for shirt for prince ar? So, have you found any nice one yet?

toilet train? you can search for paper(newspaper) training... quite effective. For me I every morning wake up and bring prince to do his business then night 1 more time. So he learn and not pee and poo at home.
nevermind la.. i call my mum or sis do 1 for prince
