Just nao i went McD to eat their BBQ Double Beef Burger & Taro Pie. After finish eated i bored so i look at the Samurai Burger paper on the tray, then i look right side got the nutrition facts of McD normal menu.

Seems Coke has the highest sugar level same as Sprite. The Orange Juice & Ice Lemon Tea has slightly higher sugar than Coke which was a surprise.

The Deluxe McChicken has the highest energy, fat & Protein, while as expected the fillet O fish has the lowest energy & protein.

The Milk Shake has very high amount of Protein, almost half of the Deluxe Chicken.

The Icecream has the highest sugar level in the menu.

The Chicken Burger is actually abit higher than Fillet O Fish in terms of Energy, Fat & Protein.

The Big Breakfast Energy, Fat & Protein is one of the highest in the menu. That explains why the Big Breakfast menu after eated very full & last very long no hungry.

More energy doesn't mean slowing hunger. I bet you'll feel less hungry by eating oats at the same amount of calories.

well the numbers looked convincingly high enough. just comparing different food & drinks.

the Oren Juice & Ice Lemon Teh got more sugar than the Coke, probably used to counter the sourness?

Comes in useful for diabetic to read how many carbs are in each menu item so know how much to inject

Not many places publish though - Mc Donalds , Kenny Rogers, KFC are only ones that come to mind

Yes, I do. The spicy chicken mcdeluxe paling tinggi kalorie, about 33% of recommended daily intake (2000). cos of the fried chicken thigh with fat. Imagine if double spicy mcdelux lagi die. Tha'ts for the burger alone, belum tambah fries etc lagi. So one meal can be up to to 50% of the RDI.

The big breakfast eat can skip lunch also. About 1080 or 1.1k calories already. Slightly more than half of the daily recommended intake.

That's actually a good thing unless you're exercising or running for marathon.

Longer to digest - feel full longer. Not so sleepy from sudden carb crash.

But don't overd oit and focus only on protein cos your liver need to process it. Too much protein can stress your body too (unless you're working out or doing body-building).

the branch-to-branch variation is quite significant.

I recalled this particular branch which serve patties oozing with oil.

also, it's not weird for tea to have higher sugar content than carbonated drink. raw tea flavor masks quite heavily, so naturally you are inclined to add more sugar.

does it matter to your liver whether you work out or not because the liver has to process the proteins whether you work out or not.

Yes. Because unlike sugar/fat, your body cannot store protein cos it is "toxic" and needs to be removed. That's where the liver comes in and has to process them first before it goes to your shit.

if you eat a lot of protein but not working out etc, then your liver will have to break down a lot of protein. This can be stressful for body and liver, and what some ppl will call as "heatiness" feeling. If this happens often, can also lead to complications later in life.

If you're working out etc, then the protein will be used to build muscle etc so your liver don't have to break down as much protein.

this is quite wrong. it's not completely wrong but nevertheless incomplete.

our problem with CVD lies a great deal in our culture of treating rice as our staple food. our norm 3 main course meal per day is also to be blamed.

protein is not toxic. the byproduct of amino acid metabolism is however.

ammonia.

True, culture does affect on how people eat their daily intake.Thats why its not wrong to learn different kind of eating behavior contrary with our norms.
