AA selalunya murah kalau you order a few months before.

Macam trip to Singapore. If order now, dapat 165 return trip while MAS 200+ per trip.

165 return vs 200 single trip.

Maknanya total MAS 400+.

Tu tak masuk semua kejadah lain lagi tu.

400 is supposed to include everything for MAS. I think they are supposed to list it that way.

And 165x2 = 330 is NOT everything. Last time Australia sued Air Asia for not listing the actual price and alot of hidden charges.

This.

But i think most major airlines plants Cookie in your browser. Everything u recheck the price, it will increase. So always clear your cookies, use different browser, or maybe "incognito mode" for chrome. Im not sure MAS' website got tracker or not. Just to be safe.

MAS definitely more cheaper. I purchased tickets for jb-kl-dps (bali), AA around 1.2k while MAS is 9xx. For AA price i can get business class in MAS. Btw this is for November flight.

TICKET wise, yes, MAS can be cheaper. But on international airports, Tax + Surchages could easily match the price of the ticket itself hence making AA a cheaper choice.

You book AA last minute without any promotion of course expensive lo. The strategy to Airasia is to book during promotion 1 year a head... then you see the differents. KL -> japan return ticket RM 500 only loo..

Obtw, if u fly MAS to local destinations or Nearby international destinations, u would wish ur in AA. Cuz MAS is not like b4. The seats are almost as small as AA. And the service feels like a budget carrier lah.

I flew Mas to Bangkok. Felt like budget carrier. U pay more and u get roughly the same service as AA.

I will only fly Mas if i am going long haul. Those short flights are a load of bull.

AA is cheaper than MAS but you have to book early and best is in promotion period

btw, as i know MAS and AA is different, can't direct compare between them. like a public bus with window open and 1 with aircon.

and why so bugging? in this competitive world, no 1 can hold the forever cheaper flight, just compare them both and make the choice la..

It makes no sense to travel by air to singapore if you live Klang Valley. It'll take you 45 minutes to an hour to reach the airport, an hour to check in and board, 50 minutes flight (not including taxiing, landing, unboarding, collecting your luggage), and another 20 minutes getting from airport to city center.

You're looking at about 4 hours of commute time.

By bus, just add an extra hour at a half of the cost, and you can sleep for 75% of the journey.

that is how AA earns money, let u think they are cheaper but they actually overcharge when no promo.

If you value your life, go for better ones.

that is how AA earns money, let u think they are cheaper but they actually overcharge when no promo.

i have a pilot license although i do not fly plane for a living

airplane wings are build to be flexible, to withstand a lot of twist and goyang and violent vibrations

plus, they are the main storage area for the fuel

it's okay la

i was on a plane (MAS) from KL to Europe, it was midnight, all other passengers on the plane dah tidur

and as i was looking out the windows, i saw one of the plane engine caught fire

no, not like hollywood movie wan, this is a real engine fire, and believe it or not, none of the pilots (they got 3 guys inside) knew about that farking engine fire !!

so i pushed the button to call the sexy lady, she came (not that "came" thing la, don't be dirty minded, ok?) and i just showed her the window

her face turned green, and she ran, no, she FLEW into the cabin like bug bunny, with her buntut goyang goyang (she got really nice buntut, what can I say??)

then two guys followed her to my place, again i pointed the window to them

those 2 guys faces also turned green, they flew back to the cabin

about a half an hour later after they put out the fire (by cutting off the fuel to that engine) they jemput me to the cabin, asked me to "keep secret" of the whole thing

they offered me a free ticket, i say, no way, too cheap

then they offered me a pair of free ticket to anywhere they fly, i say again, nope

then they got very desperate, okok, what u want ...

i say, i want something that only ur hq can gip me ...

they contacted the hq, and i got what i wanted ...

hehe... i ain't telling u what i got

I dont think mas is cheaper than airasia at least for overseas trip..because I have travel several times to indonesia..such as jakarta, bandung, bukit tinggi, medan, surabaya and bali..for me aa is more cheaper than mas..I get free seat for my trip.so only pay luggage, meal, airport tax, fuel surcharge and insurance.u must have a strategy when buying aa ticket.buying only when got promo.not immediate buying.my friend also said mas is cheaper, but after check through website, only for certain domestic destination.overseas destination really hard to get cheap ticket..if u want really cheap go for aa.but for value for money for sure Skytrax 5 star airlines which is Malaysia Airlines.

ok..i can agree with ts on this matter..

Last night, I was booking a flight.. KL-HK-KL..date 24 dec depart and 28 dec return..MAS had a offer..RM760 return except for blackout dates and other T&C..my date was a blackout date so had to get the tickets at normal price..

so everything done, i booked 2 tickets from RM2400 everything included..

then I saje2 went to Air Asia website and checked..i only went halfway through the booking process..meaning i picked the tickets date and reach the part where i had to choose luggage package..after I chose mine the (the RM30 package) the total was already at RM2600!!!

n I havent yet included the luggage package for the other passenger, the insurance, the seat choice..so I dont know how much it would have cost in the end..

just a simple comparison
MAS KL-HK = RM660
AA KL-HK = RM618

At first it looks cheap but when u add on all the shit MAS is more cheaper

But i think most major airlines plants Cookie in your browser. Everything u recheck the price, it will increase. So always clear your cookies, use different browser, or maybe "incognito mode" for chrome. Im not sure MAS' website got tracker or not. Just to be safe.
*
Bukan pasai cookie but the next time you check somebody else have already purchased the ticket base on earlier fares so you'll see higher fares. Budget carriers like AA seels the ticket in block fares of maybe 10-20 each fare level so sapa cepat dia dapat.

Legacy carrier like MAS however seels their regular fares but later on discounted if there are more seats to sell.

Eh, u bodoh or what, where got standing in flights one???

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryan_air

No-frills

New Ryanair aircraft have been delivered with non-reclining seats, no seat-back pockets, safety cards stuck on the back of the seats, and life jackets stowed overhead rather than under the seat. This allows the airline to save on aircraft costs and enables faster cleaning and safety checks during the short turnaround times. It was reported in various media that Ryanair wanted to order their aircraft without window shades; however, the new aircraft do have them as it is required by the regulations of the Irish Aviation Authority.

Other proposed measures to reduce frills further have included eliminating two toilets to add six more seats, redesigning the aircraft to allow standing passengers, suggested that passengers should pay to use the toilets, charging extra for overweight passengers, and asking passengers to carry their checked-in luggage to the plane.

In common with some no-frills airlines, Ryanair strictly markets itself as a "point A to point B" carrier and does not offer any connecting flights whatsoever. Passengers who purchase an onward flight from their destination, intending to make a connection, are held responsible for making it to the airport on time for each flight. Ryanair does not compensate passengers who miss their flights because they arrive too late at the airport, nor does it provide replacement tickets free of charge. If a passenger misses his or her flight, then it is the passenger's responsibility to buy a new ticket at his or her own expense. This rule applies regardless of the passenger's chosen method of transport to the airport (including another Ryanair flight).

I would go for MAS lor if flying from KL to HongKong. Atleast you can take A380. Cathay Pacific regional flight ok2 oni. Food is as good as MAS lor. some of the A340/A330 quite old leh. They oso use old 747 and if lucky can get B777 for this route. Their Long Haul is different story la.

AA is ok lor. you pay what you get, but nowadays. tix nearly the same as MAS. not worth it. if can get premium economy seat on AA at cheap price then its worth lar. others meh i would rather go for full service. Only opt for low cost if flying less than 2 hours icon_rolleyes.gif

they fly bcos can raba-raba flew crew or want try RAPISCAN maybe tongue.gif

its true why need fly to SG ???
bus or car is better, if want piap-piap during on-the-road,
try KTM / train, sure 99% times can sleep & piap.  rclxms.gif

You can try traveling both ways and compare. End up flying is more tiring than taking bus, and you only save around an hour, which you lose sleeping in hotel.

But if objective is to raba flight crew, then quite untung also, because go massading also need pay quite a lot.

Didn't take AA for long time aldy.
Now all flights on MAS.
Businessmen don't want to waste time waste energy waste more money on AA.

Businessmen don't want to sweat & walk in dirty LCCT.

Flight to Myanmar:
MAS 10am --> get to lunch & meeting with customer
AA 4pm --> you lost a day

All AA fly at bad times.
