i strongly agree using silicon tpu or rubbery case that are bendable.
those hard plastic case that are not bendable are useless, just protect from scratches but 0 protection from fall.

i use the mercury case, rubbery kind, during a drop it helps absorb impact.
not saying 100% unbreakable, but chances of survival much much higher than hard case.

another important thing to consider is the case must have some protrusion at the front,
so that when the phone is face down on the table, the case is touching the table instead of the glass.

my colleague's s3 use hard case with no front protrusion,
drop from pocket instant crack. so kesian. fortunately the touch screen still usable but it looks like shit.
*
agreed, been using Spigen Lumi case and the protection is quite good smile.gif though for some reason the back cover would still get some scratches (maybe due to dust?). i like the new Spigen's SlimArmor but unfortunately it's only available for S4 sad.gif

i gotta agree with u. the excess protrusion will take away some shock directly away from the screen. many don't realize that those slim cases without this feature will tend to break the LCD when dropped.

Guys, was wondering if anyone have seen the S3 OEM extended battery kit? Am looking for it but it seems no one is selling or I am looking at the wrong place.

Guys. My baby blue s3 feel on the floor and cracked the screen. Anyone knows how much to replace/repair the screen?

Used the kalaideng flip casing and this is what happens under a week. Should've stuck to my jelly case.
Leather flip casing no use. Mercury jelly case much better.

Agreed fully. Hard case offers no drop protection, may scratch the chrome, and normally don't cover top and bottom. I'm still using cheapo transparent TPU, phone still looks like new plus can see my Ironman battery cover tongue.gif but hands itching for Mercury jelly.

sifus and gurus, i need your help....

for those who bought their S3s when it was first launched, what is your battery life like at the moment? My battery now seems to KO very fast (less than 1 day have to charge already). is this normal? if it is not, can recommend a good seller for battery?

secondly, the top left of my phone screen seems to have a pinkish hue developing. is that a screen going to rosak syndrome?

thanks in advance!
