I believe no need root to flash custom ROM. Just need custom recovery.

guys any recommended custom rom near to stock rom? the current stock rom is too bloated and slow,

checked xda, the closest one I see is Android Revolution 29 HD

I thought to install custom recovery, you just need to flash with Odin at Download Mode? Root only required if the custom recovery keeps getting overwritten by the stock recovery (special case).

I dropped my S3 on floor, about waist height. The LCD screen no crack, but the screen turn half green, then a moment later it turned purple and the next day it completely black.. everything still functioning except the screen.

I search from google, and found out it is LCD color leaking...

The phone is still under warranty, but do you think Samsung will let me claim it?

i end up with cf root 6.4 only works that is y i don't wanna have the red exclamation mark but never mind as long it able to boot cwm. used old cwm then update to the latest.

confirm get 4.3 for s3 but problem bila? n3 > s4 > s3

im using k-tool from google play

im wondering, if the problem happen, and you have to restore your efs...
did the phone can access google play to download k-tool?
what actually happen when your efs got corrupted?
only cant make call? but can use google play?
