By right no OTA if rooted. The only way is update through ODIN will lost root or paid mobile ODIN that will not lost root.

Meaning set to 1000 or 1800? But if you at battery saving mode you may get it too cause that time your cpu is turned down to 1000

if you want root than use cf-root or flash back to XXEMC2 and root with framaroot use mobile odin to retain root with latest stock rom.

From history record we always 1 to 2 months behind actual release dates. Even if S3 is in the release list by looking at the trend if everything works well. S3 might get the release from Nov 2013 but it's always depending on S4 and Note 3 sales.. sweat.gif

Meaning your phone keep restarting itself? If what you meant maybe try
1. Wipe cached or
2. Reflash rom using odin if stock or
3. Factory reset or
4. Send back to SC..

I wouldn't change to another phone unless something really attractive, unrepairable or my wife charge phone. .. s3 serve well now...
