Aren't eggs and chicken breast protein? hmm.gif

My mother, wife and daughter who are not doing bodybuilding take whey protein regularly. Whey protein is also used in infant formula. I don't see any reason why you cannot drink whey protein.

Depends on our daily protein intake. If you are getting enough protein from your diet, you don't need protein supplement.
Just say your protein comes from eggs and chicken;
Breakfast: 4 whole eggs
Lunch: 200g chicken breast
Tea: 4 whole eggs
Dinner: whole chicken thigh
Supper: 3 whole eggs.

If you are eating like the above you don't need protein supplement. If you can't eat 5 protein meals a day, then protein supplement is needed for bodybuilding.
Eg
Breakfast: 4 whole eggs
Lunch: 200g chicken breast
Tea: protein shake
Dinner: whole chicken thigh
Supper: protein shake

Note: I was only referring to protein source in your diet.

It will destroy the protein inside the eggs, same goes to protein shake, its not advisable to mix with hot water

On the contrary, egg albumin has a higher % bioavailabilty when cooked compared to when raw. In other words you absorb and utilize egg protein better when cooked.

So boiling is okay as long as it's cooked?
