QUOTE(nexus2238 @ Oct 23 2013, 12:40 PM) Plextor is clearing stock for M5S (M6 is coming). Dealers are getting buy 5 get 1 free that kind of offer, that's why M5S is selling very cheap now. Can you share Where to get cheaper m5s?

QUOTE(nexus2238 @ Oct 25 2013, 11:33 AM) My colleague just went to LYP Jayacom this Monday (21Oct13) and get 1 for RM320 (quick pop in / pop out / not much negotiation, knowing him, it probably went like "320 can ah? Can? ok" ). edit: ok, I just checked Jayacome pricelist at LYN here (dated 22Oct13), and they list M5S 128G at RM328. So there you go. http://www.lowyat.net/pc-hardware-pricelist-jayacom/Many thanks for your sharing..have a good weekend!

Currently 240GB crucial m500 drop to $465 vs Samsung Evo 250GB $545. Which 1 better to go in terms of reliability and value? Is there any speed difference in real life environment? 1st time wanna use ssd. M500 price is very tempting now.

QUOTE(horns @ Apr 7 2014, 04:25 PM) for the 120-240gb range, crucial m500 is kind of low in performance compared to your samsung choice (due to less optimized use of 128gb nand, instead of usual 64gb. this was fixed in new m550 for the similar range). so in terms of speed and value, imo the samsung drive has more advantages. for common usage samsung drive should be reliable. we have seen many adopted it while seldom read complaints about it. Thank you very much bro for your sharing. I did some research online and think will go for EVO.
