Hi guys, I am looking at Samsung 840 evo 120gb. Is there any reason for me to get the 256gb if my uses are just general usage/work and I just want a speedier laptop? I'll replace the optical drive with the SSD and there is another 1TB HDD for storage.

I see from reviews that samsung 840 evo is probably about the best bang for buck SSD at the moment.
