my wife was watching me play the snow pirates level, when I got hit by 3 rockets at the same time she yelp a little. Then later I used the grappling hook to jump up on the sniper tower and the rocket launchers DESTROYED the tower and all I could do was scream as I hit the soft snow but before I could recover another rocket buried me!!!

Cool stuff!

lol.. i can get inside the nest(1st mission 2nd bos) with mech.. i love this game also.. u actually can weapon mod the mech too, intereting idea!.. done with the demo, ~ continuing Dreamfall

Just finished watching the E3 trailer, this is the way it's supposed to de with both a great trailer and a great demo of the experience you get with the actual game!

But it's one year from release!

Just wondering...the release date is sooo late but the demo shows like the framerate everything is pretty well done already. Maybe they gona focus on more gameplay tweak and multiplayer?

Now...the outfit, just got all the singleplayer achivement.

Just watched the GamePlay vid and the E3 Montage. Cool stuff. Getting this for sure

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition is the intriguing Xbox 360 title from Capcom that drops you onto an icy, alien-filled world. The game is set in the distant future and casts you as an amnesic soldier contending with life on a frozen world that's home to an unfriendly alien race, known as the Akrid, and groups of your fellow humans who've banded into packs of snow pirates. luv the snow track you make when you walk or jump..
and the detachable GMPG on the mech..

in the demo I like the part when kena trapped then got this huge alien and then you must run upstairs and shoot but it still can reach with its claws...

actually i thought this game something like mechwarrir but after playing the demo i would say not bad at all. i just hate mechwarrior hehehe no hard feelings.

^ capcom dont care abt NTSC/J Asian region lock? asian ori market too small to print a different disc+ cover? i guess have to wait for used copy or a budget rerelease then

hmm, price is a bit high eh

with companies like eidos, thq, activision & ubisoft not bothering with region-lock on their NTSC/J Asian release, i guess sooner or later 3rd parties publisher wont even bother printing a new cover or manual. (unless its a localized - Chi support version) just slap some stickers & send them to HK & taiwan

anyone familiar with the HK scene to know if 2nd-hand gaming or rental of ori games is big there?

What happened to companies like Square,Konami, Banpresto , Bandai and other Jap devs....man 360 is only half as exciting unless these guys make atleast 2-3 releases each year for the 360....!!!!

The Xbox 360 is not that huge in Japan so Japan developers wont be jumping into the 360 bandwagon in a big way soon..

Maybe the Japs hate Microsoft

Lost Planet multiplayer demo heads to XBL

Capcom flier in Gears of War copies indicates new trial version of upcoming sci-fi shooter will appear on the Marketplace.



Gamers who picked up Epic Games' long-awaited futuristic shooter Gears of War yesterday might have been too eager to try out the curbstomp move on their friends to notice an advertisement for Capcom's Lost Planet: Extreme Condition in the package. The flier encourages gamers to "Check Out Xbox Live Marketplace For New Multiplayer Demo!"

But even if Gears of War owners noticed the flier and dutifully obeyed its command, they would have found no such demo on the Marketplace. As for when it would arrive, a Capcom representative told GameSpot, "We will be announcing more details on the multiplayer demo shortly, so please stay tuned."

Capcom first showed off the game's multiplayer with a demo at Leipzig Games Convention in July. That version of the demo featured four-on-four battles in one multiplayer game mode on a single map.
