Black was also my first choice, but no more 2007 stock, so I took the sterling grey.
I was also offered a further 3-year extended warranty by P&O at an extra 287.

Use only sae 30 weight oil if possible...heavier oil will drag ur engine...

if u pour both 30 and 50 oil from bottles at the same time - quite a big difference the viscosity/kelikatan.

nowdays even new honda cars use 20 weight oil...mostly mechs outside will said 30 oil is only suitable for kancils hence it's widely known as kancil oil..the will try to recommend u 20w/50 oil which is too heavy..

I tot all proton/eon scs got stock up mach 5/syntium 800 10w/30 what..

Love the super smooth slippery of full synthetic oil..I'm using Amsoil ATM 10w/30 - said to be better than Mobil 1 EP and castrol syntec german.

TRy to avoid familiar brands if u wanna get oil from spare part shops so probability of getting fake oil is low.

sadly no, only airbags and ABS..

savvy's brake distribution is already good - 55-45 compare to other fwd cars up to 60 for the front.

drive shaft rusted = call proton!

what would be the checklist when collect savvy, besides the normals?
normals- all accessory are in, spare tayar, jack, antenna etc.
abnormals:
1. check the alignment of the bonet. saw some senget ones
2. absolutely no cracks in the windscreen
3. check undercarriage no rust point
4. open the wheelcap (logo) and see rust point there
5. look at doors edges for rustpoints (esp those 2007 stock)
6. alarm is working, and reset-able
7. check the production date! open the bonet, on left side, stamped in white.
8. check for strange m-oil viscocity (2007 problem- become jelly)
9. request for new battery if 2007.
10. look for any water sepage in cabin, again 2007 car problem.

lucky not gettin the 2007 model..

btw, besides the slight problems for 2007 models, are there any other differences with the 2007 and 2008 models???

actually its not the 2007 problem lar.
just that the cars sit in the stockyard too long. sommore at mrr2 dumpsite area so very dirty place.

i also almost took the 2007 model until i see the car in front of me.
inside the car like got rat bit the wires and dig hole on the carpet!

according to the sa, if i booked the 2007 model, and the car is assigned already, then i have no choice but to accept the car. but the pe guys will repair the car until it looks like new.
