checked the dell's website and found out that their 14Rs are using Nvidia GT730M instead of GT625M, and checked out the laptops you suggested and made a comparison with their graphic cards, found out that the Inspiron 14R's GT 730M beats both 15R's 7730M (HD 7730M vs GT 730M) and HP Envy4's 8750M (HD 8750M vs GT 730M) on gaming fps.

I'm thinking of getting 14R with Linux OS since it's cheaper and the college that i attend let students download windows OS for free, will change to w8 if I can't coop with Ubuntu , gotta start learning some Linux stuff from now

anyway, here's another problem 
There are two types of i5 processor for 14R on the site,
4th Gen i5-4200U processor + GT 740M + touch screen @ RM 1799; and
3rd Gen i5-3337U processor + GT 730M @ RM 1699

I don't think I would need touch screen for Linux, but the 4th Gen seems better than 3rd Gen, coz it's 4th that's my noob opinion anyway, I don't really understand what difference they both make I don't think Linux really need the touch screen function tho  any sifu out there can help me with this?  4th gen or 3rd gen?

3. Must have a Full HD screen because I like to watch movies, gaming with medium settings - C.O.D: Black Ops 2, NFS Most Wanted 2012, light office.

It all sounds great ie. get a cheaper laptop and then upgrade the ram and ssd later. However, most resellers I spoke to do not offer this service. They claim it's hard to find ssd and it will void the warranty, so they are not willing to do it. Can recommend some shops or resellers in Digital Mall/Sunway Pyramid that will do this ssd upgrade service when you buy their notebooks? Or even if you don't buy their notebooks (eg. let's say you buy a Dell online)?
