Nope it is not possible to get a bigger screen and weight at that price unfortunately hmm.gif
Battery life is an approximate 3 hours or so for the Asus (due to small battery capacity), and perhaps up to 4-5 hours on the Lenovo E130 and Yoga 11s.

The P3 is reported to be 0.79kg in weight, though I think it is only referring to the tablet, regardless it is a pretty good choice there too, with SSD some more. Sorry for missing out on that one sweat.gif

New question ..same budget Rm 2000-3000.

1. Two or more USB port. And
2.good built in wifi receiver.(wifi card or...)...for good wifi reception.

are you asking for 2 different things? smile.gif

a. For laptop models that come with FreeDOS (i.e. no OS pre-installed), usually it also has a spec that come with OS. And the brands usually will put all the relevant drivers for OS that it supported on its website. So if you get your own OS, then all you have to do is go to the website and downloads all the relevant drivers.

b.
15" will not be light.
If you want "as light as possible", stick with 14" for your budget.
Photo and Video editing, depends on the file and the effect you put on, could require some powerful processing power smile.gif
Anyway,

Asus
K46CB-WX060H, i5-3337U + Nvidia GT740M@RM2199[2kg], 2GB, 750GB, W8, 4-cell, OD

Dell
Vostro 5460, i5-3337U + Nvidia GT630M + (32GB mSATA SSD + 500GB(5400rpm))@RM2199[1.54kg], 4GB, W8SL, 3 cell

HP
Envy4-1238TX, i5-3337U + AMD HD8750M@RM2099[Beats][1.75kg], 2GB, 500GB(5400rpm), W8

Lenovo
Z400, i5-3230M + Nvidia GT740M@RM2099, 4GB, 1TB, W8; 2 years warranty

Prices are RSP, negotiable.
Use the remaining of your budget to extend warranty (Dell, HP - 3 years), increase RAM (Asus, HP), swap out HDD with SSD (256G ~ RM600+/-).

Its hard to say which one is preferable without knowing what you are looking for laugh.gif

The Z480 is a pretty old model already nod.gif

We are recommending Toshiba notebooks ah, just take a look in the earlier threads  laugh.gif

my budget below Rm 3000.
Use for multimedia like non professional video, music or photo edit.
Watching online video..surfing web and normal gaming.
The full model for z480 is z480 5938-1868
With 3632QM 2.2 i7 CPU and win 8 64 bit. The shopper say is new product...with limited edition volume...isn't it?

1. The i7 in Z480 is 3rd gen i7 (Ivy Bridge) (not 3rd gen Intel CPU, that'd be in the 1970's laugh.gif ). Haswell is 4th gen i-core mobile CPU. (westmere (arrandale)/sandy bridge/ivy bridge/haswell)
2. Z480 really is an old model that has been in the market for > 1 year smile.gif

If you absolutely need i7, it is actually the cheapest brand new laptop spec with i7 quad core mobile CPU that you can find in Malaysia.
*
HOW to know that the cpu is ivy bridge or haswell chip? As I know haswell is more energy efficient. .any other new features?
Also
...what the price for z480 i7 price in market now?
