Nope it is not possible to get a bigger screen and weight at that price unfortunately
Battery life is an approximate 3 hours or so for the Asus (due to small battery capacity), and perhaps up to 4-5 hours on the Lenovo E130 and Yoga 11s.

The P3 is reported to be 0.79kg in weight, though I think it is only referring to the tablet, regardless it is a pretty good choice there too, with SSD some more. Sorry for missing out on that one

are you asking for 2 different things?

a. For laptop models that come with FreeDOS (i.e. no OS pre-installed), usually it also has a spec that come with OS. And the brands usually will put all the relevant drivers for OS that it supported on its website. So if you get your own OS, then all you have to do is go to the website and downloads all the relevant drivers.

b.
15" will not be light.
If you want "as light as possible", stick with 14" for your budget.
Photo and Video editing, depends on the file and the effect you put on, could require some powerful processing power

1. The i7 in Z480 is 3rd gen i7 (Ivy Bridge) (not 3rd gen Intel CPU, that'd be in the 1970's ). Haswell is 4th gen i-core mobile CPU. (westmere (arrandale)/sandy bridge/ivy bridge/haswell)
2. Z480 really is an old model that has been in the market for > 1 year

If you absolutely need i7, it is actually the cheapest brand new laptop spec with i7 quad core mobile CPU that you can find in Malaysia.
