1. Preferred Brand: Toshiba, Lenovo
2. Budget: <3.5k
3. Usage: Normal everyday work. Entertainment. Minor picture editing. No processor-intensive processes
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 13"
I'll be going for lengthy travelling soon and I want to get a light laptop but still be able to get decent work done after the travelling period. So i'm looking at ultrabook instead of netbooks or tablets.
I'm looking at the following:
Toshiba U840W-1000 : Good speakers, big HDD + SSD space, 6gb
Toshiba U940-1001X : Good value for money with graphics card, big HDD + SSD space, 4gb
Lenovo Yoga : Light, but only SSD.
I'm leaning towards either Toshiba. The money for Lenovo is about the same with MacBook Air.
Should I just opt for MacBook Air instead? Mac has too many "proprietary" accessories to take into consideration.
