Dear sifu, need your suggestion and guidance on my purchase of laptop

Preferred Brand = ASUS, DELL, LENOVO
2. Budget = less than 2.0k
3. Usage = uni student, assignment and will uyilise for autocad software (engineering student)
4. Preferred laptop/screen size = 14'

Actually my brother has futher his study at politeknik and this weekend he asked my father to a laptop for him..there are few question that need your kind advise

1. i heard autocad software not compatible with win8 OS, is it true?

2. If my brother will use this laptop for more on autocad purpose, it really need a good GPU or high number of RAM?

one my friend has purchased lenovo g480 (i5 processor) earlier this month.. he asked the reseller to install the autocad software but the reseller told that the autocad software not compatible with win8..end up the reseller reinstall win 7 for him and the autocad software can be install after that...need your explaination on this matter sir whether is it true the autocad not compatible with win8 or there are others issue with the reseller or the laptop itself
