Good morning/afternoon taikuns! biggrin.gif

Very interesting feedback on Legoland MY, especially from capm and paanjang's review is very professional!  rclxms.gif

Just to add my 2 bricks worth on visiting Legoland:
- theme park is really meant for families with kids, ideally they are aged 6-12 to be able to enjoy the bigger roller-coaster rides which have minimum height restrictions. But they rides are not big thrills for teenager and young adults.
- essentials to bring to the park are lots of water/drinks, some snacks and unbrellas (mainly for the ladies and kids to protect against the sun and/or rain). If going with family/kids, I usually bring my run-down kids stroller to store all the essentials mentioned above and also any brick goodies you buy from the shops. The park is huge and be prepared to do a lot of walking.
- go during the middle of the week to avoid long queues of ard 45-60 mins per ride or longer which is usual during weekends. This is very important if you want to go on most of the rides and still have time to browse in the shops.
- I usually eat outside the park at the nearby mall - KFC, Burger King, Old Town, etc.

Does anyone know if the giant Death Star display is out already? Was in the news some time back but havent read any updates since. Also heard that they are selling bags of bricks to build minions at the PAB section, prices range from RM5x-8xx. Ouch!  whistling.gif

I was wondering if anyone here is interested in car-pooling for a day trip to LLM from PJ/KL. Estimate if 3-4 ppl in a car we could share petrol and toll (and speeding ticket  laugh.gif ) costs which would be less than rm100 per person. Need someone with a truck or MPV if taikuns want to haul back lotsa bricks!  thumbup.gif

Do they have lots of parts on sale for pick a brick?

Quite a decent selection, depends what you are looking for. But price is not cheap. If I remember correctly it's rm35 per 100g and annual pass holders get 20% discount.

Bro, you're right. Unfortunately the haze is back. So those going need to bring along some masks, or postpone their trip. At least the Q's won't be as long.  Don't know if that's good or bad. smile.gif  sad.gif

Haha.. Yeah.. If it gets worst then need to go round LLM looking like this.. tongue.gif

Too bad it isn't mist!

Missed out on Legoland Windsor when I was in UK last year. Wasn't poisoned by LEGO yet so it wasn't on my agenda. It was end of Spring (I believe) and weather was still awesome.

I need a Time Machine!

Thats not a bug, but a feature. by falling off easily during battle scene (pew pew pew! (makes more metal noise)) ... kids can have fun rebuilding them again and continue with playtime.

What sort of comparison bro? Weather? Price in the Big Shop? tongue.gif

But each has it's own draws mainly Miniland - I believe everything else should be the same, other than the things I mentioned above. I believe the structures in LLM are more Asia-based like Great Wall of China, Angkor Wat etc. Don't think those can be found in Legoland Windsor. Believe they're the European landmarks and structures.

Of course need people who have been to more than 1 Legoland to verify.

What I'm saying is I was so close yet so far tongue.gif

Instead I was enjoying the sights, sounds and culture in Windsor. Taking photos of actual castles and shopping at Marks & Spencer Windsor doh.gif

Was in one of the department stores and took some pics of Lego prices. If I knew it was cheaper then, I'd save myself some future money. Hehe

If I was into Lego then, will definitely go. Maybe plan another trip there hmm.gif

the feedback i got from various people who went to LLM, it's pretty incomplete and maintenance seems to be quite poor. Legoland windsor is one of the biggest in europe i think. i was very close as well....was in maidenhead, then slough n windsor itself. but didnt go to legoland =_="
