my navigation bar is to small if changed in ro.sf.lcd_density=480 to 320..how do u managed to maintain the icon size at navigation bar?

you can also install xposed framework with the app setting module.
the semi transparent systemUI mod i posted, you can also do it..

i'm planning to install Honami rom onto my XZL..but not now laa..
maybe after warranty expired..LOL

Probably due to .423 don't have Phablet mode since Xperia Z Ultra is the 1st Sony Phablet and that Honami ROM is the only Phablet mode done by Sony for now.


This Xposed Framework & Applications Setting is work for mostly all phones and ROM (currently only not support MIUI ROM). You all can try it out. The requirement is only Root Access.

Install back origin 48 DPI Navigation Bar.

got phablet
its embedded into android 4.2.2.. any rom with 4.2.2 will have phablet if activated
i used to use my s2 in phablet mode. haha

but maybe sony modded some codes in their .423.. like dialer not working properly in a different DPI

haha..i just root my XZL last week..surprisingly, it is easy as ABC lol..
flashing ROM maybe later laa..no guts yet

I know it is embedded in Android 4.2.2, but seems obvious Sony did lazy job, they not did for all mode, that why most Sony apps will have issue in here and there.

as long as you did not unlock bootloader. no need to worry
warranty still remains (provided you gotta go back to stock before phone becomes fully unusable)

i flashed other rom but then now im back on stock.. somehow most stable + with all these mods explored..
feels like there's no need to use other ROM anymore.

Now is damn easier, thanks to Doomlord, without him, previously is pain as hell start from firmware .253

like dialer now im using ex-dialer instead.. most closest to the stock sony dialer.

but i find it fair enough lah, they optmize it for a "phone" and not "phablet". haha

at least they provide a STABLE stock rom! unlike samsung. all half-half wan. thats why not many ppl use their stock rom

and not to mention slow updates (from samsung).. at least sony does it quick

I can't leave Honami ROM already, really love the new Home.

After try out the Z Ultra DPI, I am truly in love with 320 DPI already. I am pretty sure high possible switch to Z Ultra as that is the thing I want, I love such DPI and such DPI still better in bigger screen, in current 5 inch actually it is a bit small.

i like the honami port but dont like them in white :\
prefer dark background..

z ultra wont be too big meh?
5inch for me is the max screen size for a phone.. other than that its not a phone anymore (to me lah )

The dialer is working, just need some tweak, and as you said that day, need restart the phone, phone is the only part need restart before it working out properly.

I find now change DPI damn easier! I still remember in earlier time, often bootloop if you change to some not support DPI.

Samsung updates never slow la, I know now Samsung not given 4.2.2 updates for all previous phone as Samsung is ready direct push out 4.3 updates only.

i might fix the phone.apk later.. right now i've been using it on 360 still.. photos got cut off. hahaha

no bro, in the s2 community, waited till now still not 4.2.2, all leaked rom only.
samsung got the habit of not giving a care after you bought their phones.

after sales sucks (software-based)..
they only give 1 or 2 updates to the phones you bought. after that they focus on their new "flagship" phones liao..

Samsung already announcing they will straight update to 4.3, that why user of S III, Note II won't see 4.2.2

I leaving Samsung as Samsung not stable not Samsung update slow, Samsung never slow in updates.

In my opinion, every phone after 2 to 3 cycle updates (I mean different firmware range) then is time to stop already.

Sony is really slow previously, until this year after break with Ericsson, Sony just back to show. I am happy Sony back to show now.
