my cpu idls at 52'c. fan speed 1.2k rpm. if stock like that ar? any way to increase fan cpu fan speed?

Jason, My idle temp at 3.9ghz is around 40C and on full load with 2 instances of prime95 running its around 60C...just barely under the threshold before the cpu starts to throttle...but if I'm running it at 4.0ghz then on full load it will start to thermal throttle the cpu....maybe with water cooling  |

if u look at tom's hardware guide video.. as title above...
i want to know wut;s the diff between hsf of pend 2.6 and p4 that use the round hsf too.. lga775 rite..

Just bought PD 805 and MSI PM8M3-V H mobo hehehe now plan to buy TT Big Typhoon.. BT really good eh?

Taku, The big typhoon is a good HS + Fan combo, but if you intend to overclock then you will probably need to take a look at ur mobo among other stuff. But I guess the question is, are you planning to OC ur 805?  |

Mine's going fine at 4.0ghz.. using watercooling to about 40+ at full load  If anyone's interested, I got an old TT fan that I used all the way up to 3.6 w/o any over heating problems |

hmm i bought a cheap mobo coz i tot i only lost my mobo (search at tech support for my case) n want to upgrade to dual core. had i knew my ram n gc also fried i must have upgraded the whole system. Anyways here in kerteh is very hot plus my room's ventilation is not that good.. OC? of coz heheheh
note: just bought mobo oledi want to sell aiyooo cost-benefit analysis fail ooo
running temp @ 59C.. ok or not

hiya taku, sorry to hear what happened to ur mobo,gc & ram, happens to the best of us sometimes, but cheer up, at least it gives u an excuse to upgrade 59 C is pretty hot, ur quite close to the thermal throttle limit of the Proc, what they temp taken with ur case open or closed? OC'ed already or still at stock speed? |

uiyooo at limit ka? must buy TT BT hehehe.. no OC n case open, but my case cover got big fan.. the reason i don't close coz now borrow ram n gc.. anytime the owner can mintak balik
