the hands are actually not short, looks same length to me.
just the dial design different with indices further from center, and also slightly bigger dial gives impression it became shorter.

then again, i wouldnt buy a bambino anyway...i dont wear anything that will complement it.

obviously not currency weakness as that is only around 20% higher compared to last yr, while prices have gone up by as much as 40%.

and orient usa is in no way affiliated to orient HQ...its just a dealer only that decided to call themselves orient.
solar time here can technically call themselves orient malaysia too if they wish.

Hey guys, I'm gonna go scout for Orient Mako II later. Price listed around is about RM 7xx, is this with or without the 20+% discount (Say, they drop the price to RM6xx+++ or lower)? Need help because if the price is good I might grab it on the spot.

I'll try around Subang/Sunway/One Utama area first. Will try to avoid KL area but I read that Sungei Wang outlet has nice people so maybe Saturday I'll drop by. Any experienced buyer can shed some light or share your experiences?

i tried it a few months ago... quite big... plus its a faux diver / fashion piece cos there's no lume at all on the bezel.
but for those who want couples watches that look like divers... then got another choice.

I'm not familiar with Orient watches, but I can definitely FEEL the rotor moving when I walk. Other watches you can feel it IF YOU WANT TO but this one I can definitely feel it even with the slightest movement. It is also making some noise too.

I adjust the time earlier together with my other two watches (so they basically have the same time) and the orient is already 2 minutes faster. I'll wait and see until end of the week but as of this moment, should I send it back for them to check since it's about 6 days old? Thanks!

It's not hand-windable so that's the problem. She worn it everyday from 9am-7pm yet the watch still stopped at around 1-2am so maybe I'll ask her to shake her hand more. 
She just bought it for 3 weeks ago and from day 2 onward she has been setting the time every morning and it's getting on her nerve. Will get it check this weekend. Is it better to get the watch back to the outlet which my mother bought or to Orient service centre? 

from my own research la, jam may may offers the best deals for orient. they have physical shop in chow kit, but apparently their online prices are cheaper.
