aww damn.... so will they able to fix it? would it be cheaper if I bring to lowyat there for repair instead?
*
Best is try get the quotation before agree to repair..
You can probably compare.. but if you still have a long warranty to go... you may want to opt back with Samsung since sometimes it can be multiple parts that are affected not at the same time

Was just answering to your earlier concern on India set..

OTA if you can't do it..
KIES if you also can't do it (Try uninstall/reinstall latest Kies?)

Then I suggest you bring to Samsung SC ....

ya.. much better in battery.. biggrin.gif
i think the camera performance is still the same. not much improve..
*
Hmm mind if I ask what phone you were on previously?

Cause I just feel the I9505 camera is not performing up to expectations.. neither I see any improvement to the 8MP on S3/N2.. but worst due to grainy and blurry pictures....

The I9500 on the other part I tested took better picture so I am pretty much sure that it's not user's problem ....

Checked that this is a known issue and fkinmeng also have the same complaints here..

Do let us know man..Thanks

before this im using noob phone.. phone with torch light.. biggrin.gif

actually the i9505 camera have the same problem.. that is the blurry and sometimes grainy. latest update also dont fix this thing.. but for me, a lot of my pic i take less blur. mybe need a steady hand..i normaly use the HDR function. hope next update will fix this kind of problem on the camera..

I've been following this thread but sadly the response has been pretty low....

I wonder how do we feedback this directly to Samsung since the response from the CS is pretty disappointing denying this and all they asked is get back to service centre and check your phone.... while this is a KNOWN issue

To be honest I feel like selling away and wait for Nokia Lumia 1020...

Camera is important to me and the fact I wasn't impressed with Lumia 920 and HTC One so called ultrapixels 4mp...

Then this damn camera let me down... they would be better off with just 10mp but doing much better job

well.. if camera is important to you.. then u should wait phone that have better camera,, for me, i less using the camera.. more to the function it self..
*
Well, strange enough I've been reading reviews and feedback all these while.... If you could see all reviews were shouting good things about the camera..

Found no bad review about it....

Well..... and I finally found the thread about the bad .. and people were also complaining about no single bad review was found..

hahah.. mybe they are bias.. more to function.. until forget about camera.. biggrin.gif
*
Hmm not really..

I compared end-to-end ..

I was deciding whether the HTC One and this.....

The lack of detail in HTC One's 4 UP/MP I tested myself was the reason I chose the S4.. but all the while I could only tested the I9500 and not the I9505 ....

I did again check the review on I9505 (most of the online reviews were for I9505 since it is a more common/international version) ...

Well, sometimes no matter how hard you research ... sure some shit happens

tak puas hati, you can use 3rd party camera apps lo whistling.gif whistling.gif
*
Then what's the point of this talk to improve things anyway?

There is no point with stock if all you needed is a 3rd party app.... the S4's key selling points was the camera and its app...

but is it worth it . i mean the dust water gimmick

Read some bad reviews on some people had found it not really waterproofed.. maybe the sets have some issue

.. but I think so far the Xperia Z is better at this job..... if you like the Xperia thou..

For normal usage minus all the waterproof thing the flagship is no doubt the better choice.

It all depends on your personal usage ... if you like to do some extreme thingy, being in certain environments exposed to water etc.... or a careless person.. then the Activ can be a better choice than the S4..
